You are right about high school kids, you never know. And maybe your not giving Boyle enough credit, I saw them play in the Mercer tourney, I thought they had some athletic kids and potential, I know they didnt have the greatest tournament up there but at that time I certainly thought they had some nice potential, they just didnt seem too interested at that time, perhaps the coach has got them to start showing some interest and team chemistry, with all due respect. But you can certainly see they have some talent and sounds like they are starting to come on at the right time.

I just dont see how its a HUGE loss for Southwestern to lose to a Lincoln Co team when Lincoln has obviously been playing well of late. I think Lincoln is certainly a team that could make some noise in the 12 region, and for Southwestern to go up there and lose by four without Edwards, who has been their leading scorer and rebounder in probably 6 of the last 8 or so games. I dont think that was a bad loss for Southwestern at all. Also if I remember correctly you have stated you thought Pulaski Co was the best team in the region and they lost to Madison Cetral over the weekend by 10 or so I think. Perhaps your just comparing Boyle Co scores or perhaps one game here or there for your conclusions. Anyways nothing personal man, somtimes I enjoy reading your comments but other times I guess I get a little confused, and congrats it looks like Boyle Co is starting to play well.

Southwestern plays Leslie Co, not Riverside Christian. There are several games being played.

It was a good defensive effort and Somerset came out flat after the ot lose to Pulaski, that happens sometimes after big loses. Combination of the two.

First time I have seen West Jessamine play so I dont know.

Marlow, both Eppersons, Lewis, and Lewis did play football last year, guess I had a brain freeze about him playing football last year. I cant imagine the early starting lineup was gonna be the plan, But Southwestern went to Lexington and played StX three days before the season started, without any of the football kids and had them down 27 to 12 before Edwards got in foul trouble. St X came back and cut the lead to about 2 at the half, but in the second half Southwestern ended up winning a tough game, my guess is after that game the coach probably thought there is no way he could not start the same lineup three days later. The early wins by Southwestern kinda made it hard to change some of the starters, plus if you dont know the kids i mentioned that played football they are very unselfish kids and are not the type that worry about starting etc.

Russell Co has a nice team, they are well coached, shoot the ball well, take good disciplined shots, rebound well and all their kids play their roles. They are not a team you would be afraid to play if they were in your region but you certainly better respect them and bring your A game.

Yes it is a different starting line up from last year, but four of last years starters played football this year and didnt play football last year. The football kids didnt get into the gym until very late, I think that has something to do with the line up change. Also there are games where Southwestern starts several different kids, I think they are still searching for their best lineup at times. For the most part Kapinga, Cody Epperson and Edwards have been the most consistent starters with the other two spots changing from time to time.

Nice win, but Southwestern still looks like a tired basketball team right now compared to earlier in the year. I can see how West Jessamine could cause some teams problems, they are pretty good when they slow it down in the half court, Southwestern was fortunate enough to get some turn overs early and force them into more of an up tempo.

I havent got to see Trinity play, but I did get to see PRP play, they are quick and will come at ya hard. This is probably a good measuring stick to see just how good Trinity is. If Trinity comes out and wins this one after a loss like they had, I will be sold on em.

Will take GRC, some teams just know how to win close games. Some teams just have that mental toughness in close games and GRC has proved they have it.

Goins is capable of having good games, he just doesnt get the number of shots some of his teammates get.

I got to see Jtown tonight against Southwestern, 5 point game with a under minute, I also got to see GRC, one point game with about a min and I still think GRC is better than Jtown. I also got to see PRP for the fist time, I have seen Scott Co, maybe on a bad night but PRP looked much better to me. I havent seen Trinity but other than them if there is a quicker better pressing team than PRP I would like to see them. PRP starts two sophomores and they are gonna be very nice players, PRP is extremely quick.

I didnt see the game but sounds like some controversy, I have said it before, put these games on youtube or the school site or something, just think its a great idea.

I would have to agree I think McCreary has had some impressive wins this year, a good win over Pc and certainly a good win or Butler. They certainly dont have a great deal of size without the young man that is hurt right now, I think they would certainly be a different team with him. I thought they handled the press alot better, just didnt have much size inside without the big kid playing.
