  1. The tone of this thread would be completely different if it was a male teacher and a female student.
  2. Any new news on NKU's non-conference schedule for next year? I haven't heard anything since December when there was rumblings of Ohio State and Indiana.
  3. 1. Martin and the A.D. were not getting along. 2. K-State did not make a play to keep him when rumors began over the weekend. 3. He was making 1.45 million at KSU, at USC he will make 2.05 million. 4. South Carolina is closer to his recruiting base in South Florida and D.C. 5. K-State has to compete with Kansas in state. At South Carolina he doesn't have that problem with a state school in conference and the Athletic Programs are better across the board which equals more support. e.i. (football and baseball) Its a no brainer.
  4. I think its a great move for South Carolina and Frank Martin. Seriously would you rather live in Kansas or South Carolina? Where was K-State's program before the one year of Huggins and with Martin? K-State is relevant because of him. South Carolina will be in two years as well if he goes.
  5. Alabama-Huntsville leading Bellarmine 44-40, 18min to play.
  6. Don't get me wrong, I think Monroe is outstanding. Bach is a year younger and a potential Division 1 talent. The way he finished the season I think he's the most talented and savy pg in the region.
  7. I would put Brossart at 5. Mason, Harrison at 5, 6. It will be interesting to see how Augusta does. They lose 9 seniors but have a very talented 8th grade team that will be freshman. They return two starters, one of which being the best PG in the region in Brent Bach.
  8. You can't compare Phil Jackson to college coaches or players. In Pro Sports 'there's always next year.' You've obviously never played high school or college sports, because everyone (who put the time in) has that feeling after the final game of their career. As for the coaches its tough to see those kids career be over after the relationship you've built with them. These are amateur athletes, not professionals.
  9. With this season behind us it's time to look forward to some of the top teams and players next year. Many of this years contenders lose key players but bring back their top players. Montgomery Co- Prewitt, Pendleton Co- Monroe, Campbell Co.- McGovney/Holbrook, Brossart- Saunders, Augusta- Bach. Clark Co. loses their starting five again, will they reload again? Mason Co. loses 5 seniors but return Chambers/Johnson. No one returns more than Scott who only loses one senior, return 8 juniors including all region performer Nick Jackson. Thoughts?
  10. St. Patrick won the District in 2000, they were loaded with talent. Lost at the buzzer to Brossart in the region semis who went on to win the region that year. Fleming County won in 98 and 99. Fleming won back to back regions that year and made a run to the state semis in one of those season. So no it should not be more.
  11. He no longer works at CBS. He works at FOX doing Big Ten Network basketball and FX Saturday College Football.
  12. I was going off the latest numbers from the ky dept. of edu website, I wonder which one is more accurate.
  13. I looked up updated est. enrollment numbers on the KDE website: 1. Clark Co. 1600+ 2. Campbell Co. 1500+ 3. Montgomery Co. 1200+ 4. Scott 1075+ 5. Harrison Co. 950 6. Mason Co. 850+ 7. Bourbon Co. 825+ 8. Pendleton Co. 750+
  14. With Clark, Campbell, Montgomery being the largest three, Scott is 4th, Harrison 5th, and Bourbon and Pendleton are 6 and 7 not sure which one is bigger between those two with Mason 8th.
