My son played for Bill on an All Star team that went to Louisville Rumble on the River. Nick Woodward coached that team. Casey Boston was on that team. Will Ludwig was on that team. He loved playing for Bill.

I don't recall who the OC is at NCC is but that fellow has proven he can develop a QB and a pass offense.

The KC BOE or senior administration would not allow Kenton County teams to practice on Sunday or on MLK. SK came out flat follwing two days off. Ryle was seen practicing at SOAS on MLK, so its fair to assume BC practiced somewhere as well. See the boys thread on the Collins cancellation for additional detail or IM me. I'm livid! They even denied off site practice.

If SK does win anything this year. the KC School District Administration should not be expecting a celebration invitation.

Good luck to the Thompson family, I wish them well! I would be looking for someone from the offensive side of the ball, outside the program, with very good interpersonal skills. Is it realistic for a head football coach to also be a full time teacher? I for one do not believe there is enough time in the day to do justice to both and several of Boone's district competitors do not have this responsibility.

I bet you a weeks salary that BC girls practiced somewhere on Sunday. They did not have quite the same foresight, scheduling a game on Tuesday!

I have to profess ignorance. I have only seen two top 20 teams outside of NKy. Those being Bowling Green and Monroe County. IMO it is unfair to rank teams that one has not seen play. In NKy , only NDA and SK are worthy of top 20 consideration.

These policies effect more than this game. Onsite and OFFSITE practices are also prohibited on Sunday for one policy and Monday for another. Bottom line : you are robbed of the ability to prepare your team to play a game on Tuesday!

This policy reeks of PC or personal agenda.

The Kenton County School Board can stick it where the sun does not shine! This is an absurd requirement that is a blatant abuse of authority and inconsistent with other public institutions, like UK, for example. Combine this policy with the one which disallows team practices on Sundays and you have one ridiculous situation. Martin Luther King would be honored by excellence on the court and the class room, not by holding student athletes back. How many of the football teams in the state that qualified for the state semi-finals practiced on Thanksgiving? Answer: ALL OF THEM

Final from Walton. SK definitely showed the effects of an emotional game at NDA yesterday, but they had enough to beat the Wildcats on their home floor. Owings along with Tomlin were the heroes of this game. SK's bigs looked tanked. Coach Klinkenbeard took what I thought was a brilliant technical. SK was on a 3 on 1 break when he took the T. SK had all kinds of momentum and was headed towards breaking it open. After the T , Walton stayed in the game the rest of the way.

Very impressive for the Lady Jags when you consider the coaching turbulence this week.

If NDA's schedule lightens up, they should consider getting some playing time for the kids on the bench. Now that the lack of depth has been exposed, more teams will try to exploit it.

A track meet is exactly what SK wants. They don't even pay attention to the scoreboard until the 4th quarter. The thing that made me scratch my head is that NDA decided to run with SK. You might get some transition baskets short term, but long term you are getting to E on the gas tank a lot quicker! I thought NDA had some turnovers in the 4th quarter that were fatigue related.
