Final from Park Hills.

SK held their own on the boards and NDA succumbed to the exhaustion of playing an up tempo team. NDA had several fatigue influenced turnovers in the 4th quarter. SK had multiple bench players make significant contributions. SK guards had a tough time getting shots off, NDA guards had a hard time handling the ball against smaller, quicker guards.

Cox and Bosse held their own against Smith and Voshkul.

On to Walton tomorrow, hopefully avoiding emotional let down after a big win.

Good luck to NDA the rest of the season.

Final per the KHSAA scoreboard.

Big win for the Lady Pioneers. Knocking off the 9th Region's top team is an accomplishment. They play Walton tomorrow but I don't see them being tested without Sandlin playing.

Great win for The Lady Pioneers congrats

Nice win for the Neers.

In a battle of coaches I rarely go against Coach Stowers. Dude can coach.

Yes he can. He is one of the hardest working coaches I have ever met.

Wow!!! With ND healthy and at home, this is a huge win for SK, Congrats to them...

Just when I thought ND separated themselves from the pack they go and drop this one at home.

Seems like SK might just have something to say about who the new #1 in NKY is.

With this upset tonite, could this be "upset weekend" and maybe, just maybe Highlands could upset Conner tomorrow nite in Hebron... Boy that would really shake things up

Great win for the Pioneers! Congratulations to them on the strong showing on the road. Personally I am not too shocked on this result. SK is very good and very fast. For what it's worth, it appears that for now, the 8th region is starting to show themselves a little stronger over the ninth.

I remember a young Cook years ago. Her brother and I took no mercy with her playing ball. She would cry, run inside, then come back out and battle again. I'm pretty excited about this SK team.

The 8th has 2 excellent teams (Anderson Co, SK) then about 4 others and the it drops off. The 9th has more depth at the top level (ND, Highlands, Conner). With that said, I am not shocked as I posted earlier, I believe SK is the class of NKY.

SK very well could be the class of N KY as you say, however I am sure we would both agree, they are probably more interested in ending up the class of the 8th region. The 8th region tournament could turn out to be a dandy.
