Simon Kenton 66 Notre Dame 59

SK very well could be the class of N KY as you say, however I am sure we would both agree, they are probably more interested in ending up the class of the 8th region. The 8th region tournament could turn out to be a dandy.

Depending on the draw, I see an SK/Anderson final.

I did not realize SK was this good.

When you lose such an info guru like UKfan out in Indy you just lose all insight. Just sayin...

Goin to go on record and say sorry in advance to ND's next opponent. Yikes.....:madman:

Hey. Some of us classless SK fans are still here!

Impressive win for SK! Very happy for them!

Saw Simon Kenton in early season scrimmage and knew they were very solid. Speed kills. And defense wins games.

SK just keeps getting better. They are much better now than they were early in the season. Stowers knows how to coach and get them ready for post season.

Hard to win a quick paced, pressurized game by only using 7 players. I might be wrong but some of the NDA girls got zero rest. SK used 11 or 12 players, most getting a decent amount of minutes. When it was established early that it was going to be a track meet, NDA seemed to go along with the plan. Somehow thre has to be some players over on the bench that could finish out a quarter or something? Great Job and Congrats SK; hard play, defense and coaching won this game.

Agreed. One of the few weaknesses that ND has is they are not deep. They are very good and balanced in the top 5 with one or maybe two subs that can help keep their quality up. Not many teams are in a position to expose this with only 7-8 rotating in themselves. SK, with their depth, was able to use it down the stretch for an advantage. And SK makes you work your tail of to score, that is for sure.

Wow huge win for SK. Congratulations. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.

A track meet is exactly what SK wants. They don't even pay attention to the scoreboard until the 4th quarter. The thing that made me scratch my head is that NDA decided to run with SK. You might get some transition baskets short term, but long term you are getting to E on the gas tank a lot quicker! I thought NDA had some turnovers in the 4th quarter that were fatigue related.
