Yea, I made a thread but couldn't remember the final score.

 

Boone played the best game they've played all year. Their defense was awesome and wore SK down. Didn't let SK get too many looks inside and when they did they were well contested shots.

 

SK didn't lay an egg, Boone just played great tonight. As I said, best they looked all year. Shooting was on and they actually made their free throws tonight. Great win by the Lady Rebels.

If SK does win anything this year. the KC School District Administration should not be expecting a celebration invitation.

Wow. Was the ND game a result of ND playing too many games too close together.

Iam as bad and guilty as anyone when it come to braggin on my daughter's team but I have learned one thing over 6 long yrs and that is to always remember its Girls BB and any good team can beat what we all think is a "no brainer" on any given nite.

SK is a very good team and can plain out shoot the rock. They only had 3 losses I believe going into this game so don't think it was a lucky win against ND, SK is a good team.Boone has been up and down all year, just very inconsistent. But if they play like they did tonight the rest of the way they can beat anyone. Just not sure they can do that though. It will take more than 1 game to see if they will make a run come tourney time.

As I said, tonight Boone played the best game they've played all year. Their defense was very good, best they played D all year also. I've watched them most of the year and yes I was at the Cooper game which they played possibly the worst all year.

 

What I said is if they can play like they did tonight the rest of the way then anything can happen. I also said it takes more than 1 game like tonight to see if they actually can do anything the rest of the way. I don't think I as you claim I said, said they are the team to beat by any means. I just said if they play like they did tonight then they can make things interesting the rest of the way.

 

If you've read my comments about Boone all season you would know that I said their weakest part of their game has been their free throw shooting which actually was decent tonight and makes a big difference in games if they can hit their free throws. They've had many games this year where they play good defense, Cooper game was the worst I've seen their defense.

 

Even with good defense, when you can't make shots it makes it hard to win and that has been their problem this year.

 

I do have a question though, have you seen SK play tthis year yet? I thought they only had 3 losses goingg into tonights game.....that doesn't sound like a bad team to me.

IMO I think SK looked past Boone, and wasn't focused on the game tonight.Hopefully this is a wake-up call!

SK only had 2 losses going into tonight's game. They are a good team and their win over ND was no fluke. Boone must have played exceptional and SK must not have played their typical game. Upsets happen, we had one tonight. Congrats to the Lady Rebels.
