Well things have changed since I was growing up. Back in the olden days once your sport season was over you were done with it until next season. the only sport that started early was football with 2 a days in the summer. These days whatever sport you play it's a year round thing. Once football is over they are back in the weight room 2 weeks later. Baseball same thing after your summer ball is over and if you play HS baseball you better be playing summer ball also.

 

so seeing how much things have changed I understand the rules they need to put into place just to give these kids a break every now and then. It's gotten to be a full time job for these kids these days especially when you play multiple sports.

Very true. I will tell you one thing, I have 3 kids. the 2 older kids (I guess I shouldn't call them kids now, 1 is married and the other is a JR in College) were girls and only cheered or ran track. It was a little easier getting them back and forth to practice etc. My youngest is a boy that until 3 years ago played Football, Baseball and Basketball. Now he only plays Baseball and Football in High School and I couldn't of been happier when he got his license last year because now he can drive himself to practices etc. It was such a relief especially when they have practice before I get off work.

 

We still go to all the games etc. and after work I will go up and watch the end of practices still etc. but once he graduates next year I don't know if the wife and I will know what to do with all our free time. I'll probably become a drunk.

Boone played the best game they've played all year. Their defense was awesome and wore SK down. Didn't let SK get too many looks inside and when they did they were well contested shots.

 

SK didn't lay an egg, Boone just played great tonight. As I said, best they looked all year. Shooting was on and they actually made their free throws tonight. Great win by the Lady Rebels.

 

Easily the best game the Lady Rebels have played this year!
