As I said, tonight Boone played the best game they've played all year. Their defense was very good, best they played D all year also. I've watched them most of the year and yes I was at the Cooper game which they played possibly the worst all year.

 

What I said is if they can play like they did tonight the rest of the way then anything can happen. I also said it takes more than 1 game like tonight to see if they actually can do anything the rest of the way. I don't think I as you claim I said, said they are the team to beat by any means. I just said if they play like they did tonight then they can make things interesting the rest of the way.

If you've read my comments about Boone all season you would know that I said their weakest part of their game has been their free throw shooting which actually was decent tonight and makes a big difference in games if they can hit their free throws. They've had many games this year where they play good defense, Cooper game was the worst I've seen their defense.

 

Even with good defense, when you can't make shots it makes it hard to win and that has been their problem this year.

 

I do have a question though, have you seen SK play tthis year yet? I thought they only had 3 losses goingg into tonights game.....that doesn't sound like a bad team to me.

But with that being their "big" win, a questionable early schedule and then losing to Boone in the next game, why wouldn't one ask if the ND game was a fluke??

Congratulations to Boone. The 33rd district playoffs should be very competitive with all four teams having a chance of winning the district. Should be fun to watch.

Okay, the one with Sandlin, probably a pretty good win. The other win against them, I don't know if I'll give you that one. So they have two upset wins and a couple of bad losses. Everything else was against very average competition. Again, I think they have a good team, but be careful to only look at record alone!

 

And remember, they just lost to Boone by 13! So again, they are good, but no better than any other team up here. So lets put the "no respect" and "we'll beat the 9th region" to rest.

Why always excuses???? Why didn't SK come up with something creative like Ryle? Didn't ND play you guys as a 3 games in 4 days scenario? I didn't hear ANY of them crying about not having time to prepare for SK!! SK missed one day of normal practice. Teams play back to back nights and don't complain about preparation. Just admit that SK is just like every other team...good but very beatable on any night! It's okay. The Kenton Co BOE has many more important things to worry about rather than if the girls team was allowed to practice one day in the middle of the season. Do you really think missing one day caused a 13 point loss? Were the girls out of shape? Did they lose all their skills from not practicing. I will give you that they could have possibly prepared for Boone, but that is assuming the coaches had a tape of them and actually put the time in to study the tape. Maybe they did, but then it's usually just a conversation about what you're going to do and what they do. It's not like football where you may spend a week preparing for your opponent. Okay, my bad. you got me! So what about the rest of the things you don't address. You never answer all the questions, just the ones you want to address. Do you really think that was the cause of the 13 point loss??? If you listen to you...with all the talent SK has they shouldn't have had any issues with Boone by just showing up. SK has all kinds of talent and Boone is in the middle of a very down year. Not even in the 9th top ten anymore! Who's bubble got burst? (i think that was a statement you used as SK was coming into 9th region play). Something like "Several 9th region teams are about to get their bubble burst!" Just one time I'd like for you to post without an excuse as to why any SK team lost. It's never their fault and it's always them against the world!!!! How bout congratulations to Boone Co. They whipped us tonight. We didn't play well and they played great. No, it's the Kenton BOE's fault! You kill me!!!! It's hilarious. It's difficult for me to read because my HHS education left a lot to be desired. The teachers didn't read the books to me in class. They passed me when I shouldn't have been passed. The scores on my state tests were curved so I could pass. My mom worked too much and didn't force me to do my homework. My work hired me as part of a "helping the community" event. It's not my fault I can't read! Society should have pushed me more! Okay, got to go. I have to watch the Obama Inaugural ceremony again.
