Simon Kenton/Bryan Station Predictions
Hard Work replied to uk#1fan's topic in KY Football (High School)
SK takes this one.. these kids are hard nosed ball players. I think we will see a lack of football discipline from the defenders causing them to shoot themselves in the foot. SK 35/ Defenders- 21 -

The Panthers have a completely new coaching staff. It will take some time for them to get underway but they should be able to pull out the district trophy as long as they can compete with holy cross. As far as Paris being a 1a contender let's not get ahead of ourselves this is the first time the Hounds have beat the Panthers since 94. Without Robinson an entire half and the game is still close I don't believe they will contend deep into the playoffs!

Beechwood vs. Frankfort Predictions (1A Playoffs)
Hard Work replied to mcpapa's topic in KY Football (High School)
Cant wait to see the day that the Panther Nation Tacks a banner up at old sower field.. I hope this is the year that the Frankfort coaching staff has figured out the trick to beating the BW Tigers.. If Frankfort can hold on til the 4th I think the Tigers could be in for a surprise.. Going with the pride thats instilled in me.. Go Panthers, and goodluck to both teams tonight in their quest for a CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP.. Frankfort-24 Beechwood-21 -
Congrats to the Panthers for digging deep and bringing in the win on vets day... On to the next one!

Franklin County vs. Anderson County Predictions
Hard Work replied to threetimelover's topic in KY Football (High School)
I would like to recall last weeks game and the stats that were posted by Ryan Timmons. Below is a post from the state journal highlighting last weeks performance. The numbers: Timmons, a junior wide receiver, rushed five times for 171 yards and caught five passes for 203 yards. Timmons touched the ball 10 times and scored touchdowns on seven of them – four rushing and three receiving. Anderson just doesnt have the talent to contain this kid.. If he can continue to produce numbers like this i believe we will see a Kentucky Mr. Football award winner come from the Capitol City of Frankfort.. Franklin Co.- 64 Anderson Co.- 21 -
Frankfort vs. Bracken County Predictions
Hard Work replied to rockmom's topic in KY Football (High School)
Bracken is a much improved team from years past, I do not think they have the depth or speed to play in this one though. Frankfort rolls on 2-0 in the district. Frankfort- 48 Bracken- 12 -

Frankfort vs. Franklin County predictions
Hard Work replied to spindoc's topic in KY Football (High School)
Deuce I agree but Frankfort has played the same type of competition that Franklin Co has just on a smaller scale if you look at the powerhouses that have and currently exist in 1A football you have to tip your hat off to teams like; Beechwood, Mayfield, and at one time Danville there still is competition at the smaller level! Frankforts coaching staff has done a great job preparing their kids for playoff time while it seems that previous county staff has been focused on this one game.. -
Frankfort vs. Franklin County predictions
Hard Work replied to spindoc's topic in KY Football (High School)
Franklin County may run into a big wall this week if they think they are just gonna walk over the Panthers.. Each year we see a good contest with this heated cross town rivalry.. the atmosphere and mood will be brewing all week. The winner will come down to maturity and execution.. If the panthers are able to wrap up on defense and receive a showing from the offensive front the Panthers will neutralize the high scoring offense behind Ryan Timmons and allow their backs to get to the edge.. If the panthers are not able to execute expect to see the Ryan Timmons show all night.. I am going with the underdog and the Panther Pride Nation to pull out the upset because they are able to realize this game does not make or break their season.. Good luck to both team this Friday, Cant wait to catch this one! Frankfort: 32 Franklin CO: 21 Go Panthers! :dancingpa -

Timmons is an all out athlete and the flyers seem to be firing on all cylinders.. Look to see this Flyers team deep in the playoffs this year if they can avoid the injury bug! Good win Flyers, hats also go off to LCC QB thats a heck of a game for a HS QB! -

My prayers are with him and his family.. Sad Affair!

Great Win for a young group of individuals, Frankfort's defense is once again the deciding factor. The O-Line showed major improvements from the previous week vs Rockastle. The line will be Frankfort's achiles during the season if they can come together Frankfort will be able to get to the edge and allow their speedy backs to be a factor. Hope this will give the Panthers some momentum as they head into the middle of their season and prepare for District play. Go Panthers!!
