There may be some overzealous Bracken faithful/fans that think Coach Hinson will bring some much needed stability that has been lacking over the last several years, but there are those who need to be able to distinguish between being critical of Coach Hinson and those overzealous fans. I would assume as with any new coach of a program, that Coach Hinson would love to experience immediate success, but he made it clear from day one that this was not going to happen overnight and that it was about building a program, instilling a winning culture, etc. Which appears to already be happening. His presence and that winning attitude is definitely being felt in the middle and elementary schools, which is where it starts. On a side note, if some comments from anonymous posters on a message board about a high school coach and teenagers are actually making you angry, then perhaps you're the one in need of some hobbies.

IMO, to speculate on who played the more important role in Augusta's past success is unfair to both Coach Hinson and the players. Bottom line is, any banners or hardware that exists as part of Augusta's recent success are forever attached to Coach Hinson, the rest of the coaching staff and the players. I wish success to both Coach Hinson at Bracken and Coach Kirk at Augusta.

That tireless work you mentioned definitely has paid dividends in the fact that his game has definitely developed and progressed as the years have went by.

It's a shame these threads, whether it be here or on the boys side become so critical of kids by name rather than just answering the original question.

Heard from the radio broadcast that Cummins finished with 20 and Kalb with 13. Not sure if it would have changed the outcome or not, but Kalb played very little in the second half due to a health issue.

Well put. If the "body of work" of some of those who speak negatively of Coach Belcher wasn't such as it is, it would be sad. Fortunately, because of that "body of work", it's just humorous nonsense.

Just remember, if this game means nothing, then neither does any of their victories.
