  1. Maybe now Fleming County can get some respect in the Region polls. They have entered the discussion for making a trip to Rupp.
  2. I'll put this one in the right forum (SO sorry for the mass confusion I caused earlier). This is as things stand today. 37th District Campbell County, Brossart, and Scott all tied at 1-1. Blind draw will determine bracket, with the #1 seed getting an automatic berth in the Regional Tournament 38th District- Tiebreaker is coin flip 1) Nicholas County (5-0) clinched #1 seed. Plays Pendleton County on 2/12 2)Robertson County (3-3) (holds tiebreaker over Harrison County) 3) Pendleton County (1-3) plays Harrison County on 2/9 and Nicholas County on 2/12. A win in either game would secure no worse than the #3 seed. If they lose both, they will be the #4 seed. 4) Harrison County (1-4). A loss to Pendleton County would make them the #4 seed 39th District- draw held on Tuesday Augusta vs. Mason County Bracken County vs. St. Patrick 40th District- tiebreaker is Head to Head, then coin flip 1) GRC (6-0) Clinched #1 seed 2) Montgomery County (2-2). Plays Paris on 2/9 and Bourbon County on 2/16. A win against Bourbon County would secure the #2 seed. Will be no worse than the #3 seed regardless. 3)Bourbon County (2-3). Plays Montgomery County on 2/16. Will be no worse than the #3 seed regardless of outcome. 4) Paris (0-5) Plays Montgomery County on 2/9. Will be the #4 seed regardless of outcome.
  3. All 4 district tournament brackets could be decided in the next couple of days. Here's how things stand right now: 37th District(finalized) #1 Campbell County vs. #4 Calvary Christian #2 Scott vs. #3 Bishop Brossart 38th District 1) Harrison County 4-1 (plays Pendleton 2/9) 2) Nicholas County 3-1(Plays Pendleton 2/12 and Robertson 2/20) 3) Pendleton County 2-2 (Plays Harrison 2/9 and Nicholas 2/12) 4) Robertson County 0-5 (Plays Nicholas 0-5) Several possibilities here. Any tiebreaker will be settled with a coin flip. Pendleton can win out to create a 3-way tie. 39th District (Draw was Tuesday) Mason vs. Augusta Bracken vs. St. Patrick 40th District 1)GRC 6-0 (clinched #1 seed) 2)Paris 2-2 (plays Montgomery 2/9 and Bourbon 2/14) 3) Bourbon 1-3 (plays Paris 2/14 and Montgomery 2/16) 4) Montgomery 0-4 (Plays Paris 2/9 and Bourbon 2/16) if Paris wins Friday, they'll lock up the #2 seed tiebreaker will be draw between those teams
  4. Evan later corrected this statement. It will be a blind draw between the 3 teams.
  5. Coaching staff Golf Scramble Royal Rumble-style Wrestling Match Relay Race
  6. Warhawks host GRC on Saturday afternoon in a battle of 1 loss teams. The Cardinals lost to South Laurel back in December Great Crossing's only loss of the season was a Double OT loss to Bishop O'Connell (VA) in the Championship of the Beach Ball Classic. Bishop is currently #19 in the country.
  7. I believe it was an ankle...also per a discussion with his mother, he may be back for districts.
  8. They were supposed to play Augusta, but the Panthers cancelled that one to get under the games limit since they made a run in the All A.
  9. St. Pat may not make another Regional Tournament
  10. It was a tale of two halves in Falmouth last night. The visiting Patriots would have a lead of 6-8 points, and Pendleton County would cut it to a point or two, but Model would run it back out to that margin...rinse and repeat. A pair of threes by Freshman Jazi Grayson would give the Cats the lead for good in the early stages of the 3rd quarter, and they held on for the 56-50 win. Austin Kirsch led Pendleton County (12-11) with 18 points, and Grayson, Aden Merrill, and Alex Beyst chipped in 9 apiece. Congrats to Alex Beyst in hitting the 900 point mark for his career. Riley Mollette led a trio of Model (9-14) double digit scorers with 14. Parker Whitehurst and Layton Coleman added 13 and 12, respectively. Pendleton County is back in action tonight on the road at Augusta. Richmond Model plays again on Wednesday night at Nelson County. Richmond Model 18-09-09-14- 50 (7/11 FT- 63.6%) Pendleton County 11-13-16-18-56 (15/19 FT- 78.9%)
  11. I'll take the fightin' Randy Andersons with a late bucket for the win.
  12. The LadyCats have yet to win a true road game this season.
  13. Riley Mastin (Mason County) is averaging 13.8 points and 9.6 boards a game at Centre College.
  14. Wildcats lead the full 32 and blow out the visiting Black Devils. Pendleton's starters did not play more than 10 minutes in this one, as the game was decided with a 35-5 1st quarter. Freshman Jazi Grayson and Aden Merrill led the Wildcats with 15 points each. Eli Swanner hit five 3's on his way to a game high 17 for Robertson County. Pendleton County 35-19-18-09-85 Robertson County 05-14-12-21-52 District Standings Harrison County 3-1 Nicholas County 2-1 Pendleton County 2-1 Robertson County 0-4
  15. LadyCats avenge the loss from a few weeks ago in Mt. Olivet, leading after each quarter break. Pendleton County was led by Lily Ashcraft's 22 points (game high) and Hannah Spaulding (10 points, 14 rebounds). Krysta Hamm paced the Lady Devils with 16 in a losing effort. Pendleton County 13-14-16-16-59 Robertson County 09-11-09-12-41 38th District Standings Nicholas County 4-0 Robertson County 2-3 Pendleton County 1-2 Harrison County 1-3
  16. They'll do just fine in the 2A tournaments
  17. I didn't know you were employed by the Augusta Tourism Board...
  18. Pound for pound, the best concessions in the 10th. Nicholas County may be a close 2nd with that chili dog.
  19. Big week in the 38th (more so on the girl's side of things) with all 4 teams in district seeding games. Also, The placement of Mason County at 5 after the Reed's departure is spot on. Yes, it's left a hole, but that team is far from out of the conversation.
  20. The entire season has been a complete saga.
  21. Newport Lyon County Murray Pikeville Lyon County takes the title over Murray
