The greatest run in Holmes history followed by the same for Cov Cath.

One of the great rivalries in NKY for generations. They were a benchmark gauge in the sports I played way back when. I like the idea of the Bulldogs on the upswing. I still check their results in all sports, and hope . . .

Holmes is very young, playing 4 sophomores and 2 8th graders, and McCutchen getting hurt obviously doesn’t help things.

 

With that being said, if they keep the young talent they have, they will return to being a respectable program in NKY.
 

Sam Elsbernd is Covington through and through, he is the man to get the Bulldogs back on track. He has the mind and the will to make the changes, he will have those boys clawing for every point.

Brandon Smith. He is a frosh at Cov Cath. His dad, also in pic, was an outstanding player at Holmes.
