I remember When I was a kid in the mid 90s we would leave school early to make the trip from Harlan to Richmond to watch my older cousin play in the All A Classic. The atmosphere was electric. People love basketball and the players love basketball. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a kid complain about playing 4 or 5 games in a single week. I wanted to play a game everyday when I played.

Scott County by 12. Bryan Station may be OK but they have really played anybody outside of Lafayette and Madison Central.

Yes it was a scrimmage, but it was a big win to see where this team stands. Covington Catholic will be a tough out. They are super talented with great shooters and size. Scott County also just came off a huge win over national power Bishop Gorman in which they lead by as many as 12. So with that being said, I would pay double to see our two teams battle it out. It would be a dandy.

Cov cath also played Moeller at home which helped a ton.

Scott County beat this team by 35 in a scrimmage at the beginning of the year..... just saying. Lol

Fantastic game by the Cards. Finally got their shots to fall unlike in the first game against Moeller. Hats off to the young team as they return home and get ready for their run to state.

They looked out of sorts. Doesn’t help they shot only 29% either. Not saying Scott County is better than Moeller, but they are way better than that performance. That was painful to watch. Come back to Kentucky healthy.

Waggener does indeed have solid defense through the press. They forced scott county into 29 turnovers, but SC still managed to score 97 points and win by 15. Waggener didnt handle SC pressure very well either committing 32 turnovers. If GRC can frustrate Waggener on D then they can win.

There is a good possibility. Especially if Scott county makes some noise in Myrtle Beach. I know they start the tournament off with Moeller which will be tough. If they can win the first game that could be a huge boost for the Cards.

Michael Mereno may not be as big as these kids but, he does play the post so therefore he has to be mentioned. The kid had 40 and 12 on Omar Keita and 18 and 18 at Ballard. He has the best overall skill set of the kids listed.

Both should play. They played in the opener aagainst cordia. While im not sure what covington did, Robb came into the game off the bench and looked as though he never missed a beat. Played solid. I feel covington will see less playing time now that Stewart is in the picture. SC 78 Ballard 70

So all Trinity and St. X players can be picked from anywhere in Jefferson County? So lets say the WR from Trinity lives in Fern Creeks district...he can play at Trinity with no penalty?

But what about Trinity and X being private? Can't they bring in the best athletes from anywhere? If Scott County did that it would be a violation since they are public.

Scott county is a lot better than last year. They just beat a top 10 team out of ohio which had SC by 3 or 4 inches at every position minus mereno down low. The size difference was no problem for the Cards. The kid going to UNC was bullied all night by our guards. He had to earn every single point. Trinity and Cov cath will be great but Scott county is the real deal. Also we will see if Cov cath will actually make it out of the 9th this year. The new kid at SC is a baller and can handle and shoot the ball with the best.

They are exciting to watch. I believe they hit 16 of 36 threes tonight. If you go itll be a treat

Scott county is very efficient with the pass. They will get the run game going against X and then will hit them with a bomb. It happens every game. Just watch.
