Cov Scott has also needs to figure out Carmichael. He is pound for pound the best true point guard in the state and can score along side Ohmer. I feel this game comes down to the other scores and by the way Spurlock can shoot the ball with his legnth i would have to give the nod to HC by 8-10.

Beat down on scott county is very unlikely. I know Pulaski can score the ball, but i think they come up short by arpund 10-15

81-71 Harlan County. Jordan Brock for Harlan ind with 48. She dropped 24 points in the 4th quarter. She is the real deal and should be taken seriously for Miss Basketball.

Im just saying they have the talent to compete. Just as the 2007 team which beat the no. 1 team in the country. This team is very capable of playing close games with the big boys. Hopefully next season we have some big teams on our schedule so they can show what they really have.

I understand your reasoning but this team has 5 losses by a combined 18 points. Their worst loss was to the 2nd ranked team in Illinois by 9 in myrtle beach. This team just keeps getting better and better. They may not win state this year but I'd be surprised if they dont win next year. As for the prep school comparison, im just saying that this team would compete with a lot of those teams. May not win but would turn some heads.

Scott county will be just as good as a great deal of preps schools next year.

SCOTT COUNTY could be a possible destination per the rumor mill.

Scott county is a completely different team since that loss at Lexington Catholic. They should run through the region unless they beat themselves. They could cut down nets at rupp as well. Very all rounded team. Plus most will be here two more years.

Sc missed several free throws and around 10 point blank layups. Very sloppy performance. Make the easy layups and you win by 10+ . They are still young and have a ton of maturing to do. They will contend for a state title by years end.

SC by 18 but with it being at Catholic ill say SC by 8.

Scott county is going to be very hard to beat this year. I dont really see anyone giving them a tough game exect for Lex Cath or Dunbar.

Sucks thats SC only loss to Lafayette this year had to be this game. Great season for the Cards and heres to being better next year.

I grew up in Harlan about 5 minutes from the virginia border. I can still remember how beautiful the scenery was driving down these roads.

Elder may be down from years past but it isnt as much as people think. They did just beat top ranked power St. Edward. It just makes this game that much more impressive for the Cardinals.

It would be pretty lousy to happy about winning a game that you were losing. Its also pretty dumb to say SC was scared of a ream they were beating. This rematch might get ugly in Scott Countys favor.
