I agree with some of what you say Oldrambler.But for the Rams to get to where they want to be all of the "we are just a one A team " has got to stop.I don't cRe how many A's you have to determine your school size bad football is just bad football.I don't hang my hat on how many big schools we are playing because they all are pretty bad.Im not saying play Highlands and JC that would be silly.Ive watch a lot of Raceland teams over the years and they all have one thing in common.The get worse as the season moves on because lack of competition.You can't forget the first two rounds of the playoffs are against some pretty bad teams and it's going to get worse if Fairveiw can't give the Rams some competition.I don't agree with your comment about the Rams playing a tuff schedule,they just don't.I believe if took a look at the win and loss total of the teams the played the last three years you would see what I mean.IDK guys I guess I just don't agree but still have nothing but respect for all the Ram fans on here.At least now we are talking Doc.

Not enough excitement on the schedule for it Doc.When you get past the Ashland game you have a bunch of blow outs lined up.Im a football nut,if you can't keep me excited then I don't know how the kids are getting excited?i know I'm going to catch flack over my comments but we are playing the 5th game of the season and I'm not into it at all.Same teams every year with same results. Raceland feel asleep last week in the second qt. against BC.They are still yet to wake up.This is a classic playing down to the comp.

Heard GC got two players from Portsmouth cleared to play these week.Anybody know anything about this?I really don't think it matters unless the get about 12 from Portsmouth.

Lots of schools across the river within 75 miles.There should be money in the program to have at least one good trip a year.I think it can be done it's just easy to pick up West Carter.Bad move

I think that 90% of the teams in this state would love to have Beechwoods problems.

I hope he is wrong,but if anybody would know it would be Doc.This is a bad move for Raceland and for West Carter.I think the Rams still need one more game,they need to make it a good one because I know of a lot of Ram fans that are not going to be happy being the Carter County Champs. This SUCKS!!!!!

I'll agree with Greenup LR but you also have to remember teams like Nicholas Co,Paintsville and yes the Tigers are bad.Then you through in the first two rounds of the playoffs and then all of a sudden you have to many teams like BC and Greenup.I don't care how big of a school they are bad football is just bad football.I think the kids at Raceland are ready to take that next step and you do that by playing better football teams.Look at your state championship teams.Mayfields,Beachwoods and so many others.Not to many cupcakes on their schedule.There are way to many on Racelands.To be the best you have to beat the best and it they are not on your schedule then you are just trying to make your record look good.Im a big ram fan and we are always talking about taking that next step...... So let's take it.

I think we need to find teams and play teams that we will find in the playoffs.Not going to run into to many teams like JC.The smaller faster teams always seems to get us.Raceland does not need to be playing Boyd Co they get nothing out of it,East Carter,Greenup.These teams do not help us get better.I would be fine going into the playoffs at 6 and 4 and knowing we played some good football teams than a bunch of cream puffs.Raceland needs to start challenging their kids more and stop putting together a schedule that keeps mom and pop happy,I really believe that the kids want to be challenged. I don't know why some are so against the current set up with football?They get on here and bash it and never say a thing about baseball or basketball.Every team in the state makes post season play in those sports and everybody's fine with it,and guess what you can lose your district championship game and still andvance.No body says a thang about lope side scores or travel in those sports,just football!!The problem with football in KY is you go from good teams(very few)to bad teams(a lot )

I agree Ram.I also feel the same about Greenup Co. With everything going on between the two schools why should we go down there and give them a good gate.Lots of schools across the river to play.We just need to start thinking out of the box.
