    I think Ross was the last coach hired that did not play for Raceland or was on staff in all of the sport programs at Raceland.Shawn Johnson was on staff,TJ was on staff.Every other coach down there played at Raceland.Thats the good ole boy system at its finest.How many sports programs at Raceland would you consider to be good?I would love a change.Your right Doc Raceland is going to be fine.I just got a little juiced over the flirtation of a rumor of what I thought would be a great hire for the Rams.

    I was talking about the hiring of a new coach.They have used the good ole boy system far to long.I was just excited to have someone new not on staff.Thats all Doc

    They are looking at know one right now.They had one guy in mind thatsno loner interested so Salmons gets the nod by default.To late in the year to land anybody els.To bad really,Thought we might get some new direction for the program.

    I don't think any will.I mean Russell hired a Raceland guy because he was a devil first.Dont know what would happen if he brought a bunch of rams with him?I think there would be a lot of evil fans that would not like that.But if you can't beat them take their coaches,ha ha

    Ram I know you,and I know you know me.We both know they will not hire outside of the program.I think that's a mistake on there part.Its good for your son he got through this and did not have to deal with it.I have herd that Salmons is taking TJ's old job.

    The only reason I don't want to see him go is Raceland will replace him from within the program.There is no one on the staff I would like to see have the job.the longer this goes on the harder it will be for Raceland to find a good coach.Just wish if was over.There was a lot of coaching turn over this off season,more than i can remember there ever being.

    I think that most teams in the state still have kids that play both ways.You spend a lot of time installing a finesse offense it takes time away from the defense and then you ask those same kids to be aggressive and to hit somebody.I think that is one of the problems.

    We were wrong about this one last year but I think the rams get it right this year.I guess this is the tough part of the schedule, the part that gets us ready for the playoffs,yeah right. Looks like our schedule is getting a lot like Fairviews.
