I'm ok with the 6 classes, but I'm for only 2 teams make the playoffs, I don't care if the 3rd place team is 9-1, or 10-1, First and Second place only. I've heard the argument that these blowouts get the JV kids experience, and that is sometimes true. Mayfield got some kids experience tonight, but why would a coach bring down 42-0 at half not play his JV team SOME? Hancock played their varsity the whole game, I don't see where that benefits the backups.

And I would say that's a good dark horse pick, Mayfield will have to play good football to beat them.

I don't think you can honestly believe than Danville, Desales, CAL, Mayfield could be considered as a dark horse. I think any of these four have been the favorites all year to win it all and even though Danville and Desales are probably the favorites, I don't think it would be considered big upsets if Cal or mayfield won it all. I'll go with Somerset as my dark horse.

It's so hard, at least for the average guy like me to judge teams you've seen on film much less teams you haven't. I watched Danville vs LCA, LCA has some real good talent, but Danville is loaded, they are going to be very hard to beat. Now, as to can MHS win it all, who knows! Lot of IF's, to consider, just like with any other team, but to narrow it down as much as I can, IF the secondary can improve, IF the QB duo can get the ball to our receivers, and I think most importantly, IF KYLE HURT is at full strength, we got as good a shot as the next guy.

Mayfield shouldn't get excited about beating Caldwell 55-14? Come on man, would CC fans be excited to beat Mayfield that bad? Heck, I'm thrilled!! now, does that mean MHS is unstoppable? NO! Does that mean CC is overrated? NO!
