i don't think he's demening someone accomplishment. I think he's asking a question that others are probably wondering about as well. I don't understand why someone makes a statement or ask a question, ti turns into bashing or putting down an individual. I think it's a fair question, I dont' think the post was to bring up a kids academic situation, maybe it done for the purpose athletic reasons like a teammate whom he is playing with..........

Oh okay, I know that a school in Boone County does not allow any student-athletes to participate in another sport if they are already committed to another.

It was my understanding that if you were involved in a high school sport (baseball) you cound not participate in any other sport meaning football. I am not sure how that works..It is a school policy or a statewide thing?

I can't believe this is even an issue. If you want to play baseball, DO NOT go on spring break. Kids are not permitted to leave for spring break during the season at the high schools tht I am familiar with, so what's the big deal? I don't understand what the issue with players not leaving a week during the season. Please tell me what I am missing here. If your kid is committed to playing baseball than it will not be an issue with him.

I'm sorry, but I am a little skeptical on this whole thing. If I'm correct, the post say the freshman was clocked at 85mph? Which means that he was most likely clocked as an 8th grader throwing 85mph.. I think someone may have read the gun wrong..

I'm sure that's the only questionable call the refs made all night for either side. NOT.....I'm sure Cooper didn't get away with any fouls that were not called over the course of the game. NOT...

I don't think I ever used "Lay down" It doesn't matter because they LOST the game. You can go with all the moral victories you want and complain about the refs. It doesn't matter!
