I've never heard of Towles grandfather. The only thing that i know, is after watching both of them play I would take Towles over Pike. Majority of the time when Pike's name is mentioned it's usually before or after his fathers.

I'll take towles any day over Pike. The only advantage Pike has over Towles is his name.

Why, So we could play slow boring basketball? I'm not sure top recruits would flock to Brad Stevens to play that style....

I have a question for you, What player has CRP made better as a freshman for UL during their freshman year? CRP's plan is to hold them back and not to let them shine so they will be a multi year player..........

I understand that, the NBA is about managing egos than coaching. Why he would want to deal with that I don't know.

Why in the world would he go to the NBA for a million more dollars when he has all the money he needs. Think about how much more work he has to do in the NBA. Playing games nearly everyday, being away from his wife and family, and being on the road all the time. I would think he is happy at KY, its a dream job. Bringing in all these big time recruits, playing twice a week, making 4 million a year, and being treated like a rock star in KY (except UL fans)LOL...Come on, how could life get any better.

How do you know he wants to prove he can be successful in the NBA?

I am a parent, and like i stated "kids make mistakes". It' no reason to bring up something that happened three weeks ago to try to slander the kid.It's over with, hopefully he learned from it. I just didn't see a need to make that point.

Seriously? What he does after a game when he is excited for pulling off a big time upset has nothing to do with this article or him growing up. Kids make bad judgements at times..You are taking something minor and trying to make it major..

If I'm not mistaken a coup kids who threw today are juniors and play on the varsity team. They were brought down to get work in, nice pitching effort.

All you have to do is look at the guys coaching record...

Geez, I would give him more than an "average bench coach" name one coach who hasn't made mistakes while coaching a game or looked back and wished they had done things differently. Recruiting is part of coaching, so I would say he's more than "average"...

Honestly, I would like to see UK win, but in my mind I know this game is OSU's to lose. Therefore, the pressure is not on us, it's all on OSU. What do we have to lose? Nothing, we sent 5 of our players to the NBA last year and are pretty much starting from scratch. With that being said, don't think we don't have a shot to win this game, OSU has got to shoot lights and the big boy better stay out of foul trouble. If any of those two things goes wrong, you are in for a CAT fight and it's anybody's game... GO CATS!!
