  1. Not much to really say about this one. Same issues, different game. Another rough game for Ben Bryant, Oline continues to be an issue in the run game, and a lot of questionable calls by both coordinators in key situations. UC jumped out to a 21-5 lead and needed a FG with 9 mins left and multiple 4th qtr defensive stands to extend the home winning streak to 32 games. At Temple up next with an opportunity to improve to 9-2 before the home showdown with Tulane to end the regular season.
  2. Isaiah Collier deciding November 16th... And just happens to be at the UC-ECU game tonight and playing in a scrimmage at Sycamore (OH) tomorrow. Hopefully a good sign but we'll see.
  3. I could see him doing well at USF. He took over a pretty bad UCF team and led them to an undefeated season in year 2. I also think it is much easier for him to win at USF than Nebraska. With UC, UCF, and Houston leaving for the B12 next year, USF has the potential to rise to the top of the AAC quickly.
  4. A crappy opponent allows you to sometimes do things you wouldn't normally do, but they were extremely engaged at both ends of the floor last night. Encouraging. This year's team is definitely longer and more athletic at every position.
  5. Final in the home opener in year 2 under Wes Miller. First thought...this team looks much better offensively with the addition of Landers Nolley II. Looking forward to seeing how they progress over the next 4 games before meeting Arizona in Maui.
  6. Cincinnati up 26 at the half against Chaminade.
  7. 1. Georgia 2. Ohio State 3. Tennessee 4. TCU
  8. No, this wasn't basketball.
  9. Try being there with a toddler. Good thing the fans around us helped keep her entertained throughout. At this point, I'm thinking this team just isn't as good as what the fanbase was thinking in the preseason. They look very similar to the 2018 team. Really good pieces in certain spots and fun to watch when they're clicking on all cylinders, but lack high end talent that we saw the past two seasons. Even if they end up winning the conference, I have very little confidence that they win against whoever they get in the Cotton Bowl.
  10. Bearcats improve to 7-2 and extend the home winning streak to 31 games. Offense again struggled to run the ball and Bryant looked bad when pressured but the defense looked pretty good today. East Carolina up next at Nippert Fri night.
  11. Harsin was a weird pick from the beginning, having virtually no ties to the SEC, and spending all but 3 years of his career at Boise.
  12. Still can't believe Mel Tucker got the extension he got after winning a few games. MSU has been a dumpster fire since.
  13. An 11-2 finish would still get them the NY6 Cotton Bowl bid. My guess is they would be ranked somewhere in the 15-19 range in that scenario which will be higher than any other G5 champion.
  14. Michigan wins and Michigan State responds like this after the game.
