It's actually a good chunk of the fans there. The entire club level at WKU (well, 90+%) are all coaching staffs from across the state. I'm not sure what percentage of that ends up being the entire crowd, but it's a pretty significant portion.

JH loses all on offense except for two linemen and two RB'sTyler Rheinheimer ,Steven Livers who can play along w TE Keener. On D they graduated 8 of 11. Maybe their biggest loss is K/P Devonta Guillory. John will have some key pieces returning in Livers, Rheinheimer and WR/FS Anthony Witherspoon along with Junior to be DL Izaiah Reed who, IMO, is one of best prospects in our state at that position for the c/o 2019.

I think you are pretty spot on with all. E-town won't miss a beat. They are locked an loaded for the next few years. As to the bolded; if only that were the case. Fact is, we could all fill out our Final 8,4,finals teams in every class for next year RIGHT NOW & we'd all be in the All A/B honor roll or likely all 'A' (with a few 4.0's or more). :lol2:

One would think, but no. I long thought the same thing on both. Prestonsburg is part of the Floyd County School System as Hoptown is to Christian County. I'm not sure the history of P'burg, but at one time Hoptown was Independent....some 40 years or so ago (maybe more), the two school systems combined.

Where was Wheelright? I remember seeing them in the C-J on Saturday mornings when it was flooooooooooded with scores. The unofficial KHSAA scoreboard, before the scoreboard.

Yep. Them and Christian use to be Independent and County, respectively. Then sometime in 60's, 70's, they merged into one school district. There is another private school down there that if they ever started football (and, it's been talked about) would be an immediate player in Class A (IMO opinion anyway)...Heritage Christian Academy. It's about a mile or two down the road (if that) from the Stadium of Champions.

I googled that one (guilty. :lol2:), and all it showed was the school.

Hopkinsville, Prestonsburg & Betsy Layne are the only ones other than Belfry that I can think of.

I know that's what popular belief wants us to think these days, and how dare we question that way of thinking..but, I truly don't think they'd have eaten those two alive anymore than they eat alive their fellow 6A that are more "balanced". I laughed at the thought earlier in the year that JC could even play with, let alone beat a PRP team that was stacked (and, almost knocked off Male in the 2nd round as you know)...but, after Sunday...I'd have paid good money to see JC square off against either of them. I'm not saying they'd win, but I'm definitely saying that despite their obvious differences in style of play and class(es) that automatically want to make us think "They'd have no chance."; I think we'd all be surprised.

I'll go ahead and say it, but Johnson Central and Belfry would have given ANY and EVERYBODY up there fits offensively (as would have T, BG and Lafayette done to them b/c of what they do and have). I hadn't seen Johnson Central in person, and I still had my doubt to whether or not they were what others were advertising them as...but, they were one of the more impressive looking teams I've ever seen up there and I've been going to these things for a long time. Physically.... they didn't look real.

If there were ever a place in the state that needed a horse related nickname then it's in Fayette County, but dang...is that a new prerequisite now for new schools in KY? "Your mascot has to do with equine."

That's usual reciprocal, at least from what I've seen. It's just a matter of who pulls that trigger first. It might not be 100% across the board (for whatever reasons), but I've not seen a lot of games in my years where one team is still rolling with the 1's across the board while the other team is clearing the bench.

Most all coaches leave their starters in until a running clock, sometimes maybe another one (or two) for insurance....then subbing and letting their back ups to run their stuff. It's pretty common practice.

It's soooooo weird. Blows my mind. I heard one lady yesterday say in regards to one of the head coaches of a team that "Well, he doesn't really coach. His assistants do. He's just the figure head and makes adjustments at halftime I think. I mean, he's too old to really coach." ...and, her husband sat there agreeing with her like this lady she just cracked the code.

They are a joke, too. I read something either on this thread or another one about how they didn't have programs, and while it would be nice for them to maybe publish the most basic of those (if nothing more than for memorabilia for those playing in it, and their family(s)...err Mom)....they'd be ridiculous, too. I've not bought one of those in years, either.....dial up the ole' KHSAA Scoreboard site/link.

Yep. Which is why they & movie theaters rarely get a dime from me. Proud to say I was there for 5 of the 6 games this week, and all they got from me was a whopping $12 at concessions.

I know all of the "Work harder" comments are mostly all TIC, but some teams are just better. That's what bothers me about people not being able to accept.
