  1. How does the Raymond Spalding/Jackson Davis matchup look?
  2. Yes, but Trinity had Josh Sewell, Daniel Corbett, Alex Kupper, & Taylor Eppley, not to mention the sophomores (Deudione, Saxton, Foster, Quick) they had that year that ended up winning state two years later. Ballard had Keiston Jones, Tyrrell Means, Ian Chiles, Devante Parker and others. Ballard went to state title game and lost to Shelby Valley. Seneca didn't stand a chance of even making it out of the District that year.
  3. Seneca has had 5 coaches in 5 years. Went down the tubes after Steve Sargeant left. Now he has Apollo fighting for a spot in the Sweet 16.
  4. University of Louisville signee Quentin Snider of Ballard High will participate in the three-point shootout during the High School Slam Dunk and 3-point Championships the weekend of the Final Four in Dallas this year. Quentin Snider to compete in 3-point contest during Final Four weekend | Recruiting
  5. Madison Central, Lafayette, Lex Cath, and Scott County. Good luck getting out of this region.
  6. Snider (35) and Martin (34) combine for 69 points. Martin goes past the 2000 mark.
  7. Nice win for the young guys. Anxious to get a report from the game.
  8. Can't forget about.... John White - Southern Miss Dejuan Wheat - Louisville, Minn T-Wolves Jerry Eaves - Louisville, Utah Jazz Deion Lee - Northwestern
  9. Kelan is 20 points from 2000. Allan had 2276. Regardless, two 2000 point scorers on one team is a lot of offensive firepower for another team to deal with.
  10. Who's coming out of this Region? I would think Scott County would have to be the favorite at this point.
  11. Sounds like Trinity tried to rally back but probably got started too late in the game.
  12. Over the past four seasons, Ballard’s Quentin Snider has built an impressive resume. On Saturday, he added another accomplishment in leading the Bruins to a 94-72 rout of host Eastern. The 6-foot-1 senior guard and University of Louisville signee scored a game-high 30 points and became the Bruins’ all-time leading scorer, supplanting Allan Houston. The record came at the free throw line, after he was fouled on a missed 3-point shot. He knocked down all three with 6:25 left in the game to register his 2,277th point. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20140208/SPORTS05/302080073/Ballard-94-Eastern-72-Quentin-Snider-tallies-30-now-Bruins-leading-scorer?nclick_check=1
  13. Dujuanta Weaver, a junior point guard for Doss, took it upon his shoulders to make sure his Dragons beat Iroquois Saturday night to clinch the No. 1 seed in the 22nd District basketball tournament later this month. Weaver scored 20 of his career-high 34 points in the fourth quarter, cooling off a rally by Iroquois and leading the Dragons to a 79-59 home-court victory. Doss hit nine 3-point shots, with Weaver knocking down six of them. Terrell Gray hit the other three in the first quarter and finished with 18 points. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20140208/SPORTS05/302080077/1031/Doss-79-Iroquois-59-Red-hot-Weaver-hits-career-high-34

  15. @SteveJones_CJ Carl Brown has transferred back to Western HS from St Benedict's Prep and will play against Trinity tonight. Can a kid get eligible that fast?
