  1. Justin Johnson 19.2 Rebs per game. Wow!!

  3. Looks good to me, there are so many teams that can beat each other on any given night this year. I agree with Spin Doc, games against each other are needed to make some conclusions.
  4. Playing the LIT at Bellarmine was OK, but nothing was better than when they used to have it Downtown and play at Louisville Gardens.
  5. “(Bullitt East) is being rewarded for staying home and playing Kentucky teams and seeing what happens,” Wyman said. “Some may question why Ballard or Trinity aren’t No. 1, but Bullitt East hasn’t done anything in my opinion to make you think they don’t deserve it.” - However it needs to be spinned. LOL
  6. So with Trinity being a 2 and Ballard being a 3, they will match up in semifinals on Saturday morning if they both advance? Ballard played #37 team in the country (won by 20 plus), # 27 Team in the country (Lost by 8), # 18 Team in the country (Lost by 3 in OT) and # 17 Team in the country (Lost by 3 in OT) and gets a 3 seed? LOL
  7. I think Doss will be there down the stretch, too much talent not to. Also, I think KC Goodin is one of the best coaches in the state. He's turned that program around quickly.
  8. Personally , I think Hoptown is too high after watching them in person even though they have great athletes. My top 3 would be Ballard, Trinity, and Holmes. PRP is so up and down I'm not sure they should be in Top 10. You don't know what you will get from them night in and night out. Overall good list though.
  9. When Will Parker (6-7 C) and Steve Julian (6-5 W) get going, they can be tough to beat. Downside is the backcourt struggles with pressure from time to time.
  10. Snider 27 (6 Threes), Martin 18, Dow 10, Perry 7, Berry 7, Wilson 4. Quentin went over the 2000 point mark last night.
  11. Owens has been putting up higher than average numbers last couple games and making some perimeter shots. Looks like Spalding is OK from the big collision the other day which is good for T also.
  12. Give me Scott County (Ware and Gilbert have big days), NCC gets revenge on PRP, Manual over Lex Cath, and Knott over Dixie. NCC vs Knott for Championship. NCC wins it.
  13. I'm hearing he will be back in time for the LIT. He will really help defensively.
  14. Bad shot selection and inside buckets for Grand Prairie doomed Ballard. Snider 27, Martin 18, Kovacevic 9, Dow 6, a few others with 2 each
  15. Ballard wins 95-62. Snider 22, Martin 22, Perry 21, Robinson 10. Snider 5 threes & 7 Assists, Martin 3 threes.
  16. Ballard up 58-39 at the half. Snider 20, Martin 15, Perry 12.
  17. NewCath by 8. Now when Cordia gets their guys eligible, different ball game. I think NewCath has too much inside right now and Moeves can knock it down.
  18. Very underrated backcourt between Thomas and Longacre. Probably top 10 in state.
  19. I think it hurt them when they dropped a dud to Ft Meyers FL in the opening round of KOB. If they win that game and stay in the main gym, progress through the tourney, then they deservedly get more chatter.
  20. Martin finished with 28 & 12 Rebs including 5 threes. Snider 17, 6 assists, 0 Turnovers. Last 3 games they've hit 24 threes between them, Martin 13, Snider 11. Martin is avg 24.6 and Snider has 20 assists and only 2 turnovers over the 3 game stretch. Ballard as a team hit 13 threes last night.
  21. It was clearly a foul but it was 84 feet from the goal and Quick retained the possession. tough call, but once you blow the whistle it's done Purple, from where we were sitting it looked like Q may have gotten hit on the elbow when he released the shot. Not much, but maybe enough to keep him from getting his follow through. Congrats to Trinity on the game. Will be a long time before Louisville sees another athlete like Quick.
  22. They start selling tix at 6:45. If its trinity-Ballard it will sellout
