Listened on the radio....sounds like poor free throw shooting led to the Tigers demise in this one.

Per The CJ, JR Ashanti Burgess had 22 points and 10 rebs for St X.

They were down 15 at one point late on and pulled it to with 77-72 before Snider pushed Ballard ahead with a few unanswered baskets. It's really tough to weather that late defensive pressure and ability to score quickly when Ballard gets going like that.

I think X tricked themselves into playing at a higher tempo than they wanted to. I could be wrong but X needed to find a way to keep the game around a 60 point pace.

 

Sounded like a good effort by the Tigers, but Ballard has really good one-two punch.
