I think most kids know what they need to work on. That's why they have Coaches. Coaches work with them to help them become better. To think that a kid is going to somehow get better from internet experts posting perceived deficiencies is a myth.

Ummm...maybe the 14 runs had something to do with it.

I think you'll find HD that the ones that come on here and feel the need to take jabs and shots at kids are envious - jealous- they didn't make it- their kid didn't make it.....take your pick. Whatever the reason it's spineless.

It's one step at a time my friend. I'm sure they would've preferred their own version of Hoosiers to play out, but in reality they were in the wrong bracket for that to happen.

I'm sure Chev and the boys will be happy hanging that 9th Region Championship banner in the gym. The school spirit has risen dramatically with their historic season....an absolutely fantastic season for all Dixie fans. :thumb:

Hindsight is always 20/20. I'm sure Dixie would love to have a mulligan and play this one again having been through the experience and having a better feel on the court for what was going on. Maybe they should've attacked the basket more off of the press...they seemed to do that well during the season but were tentative in this one. I thought LexCath's quickness and experience really showed in this one. The Martin kid has close to point guard quickness with the ball and Schuette just lit it up in the second half everytime Dixie tried to make a run. I see LexCath advancing next round...very very solid team. The Colonels had a great season (29-4) and hopefully this experience will help them become better next year returning 8 of their top 10 players.

Dixie had an opportunity to play in scrimmage at Rupp back in November. Although this will be a entirely different atmosphere, maybe that little experience will somehow pay dividends for the Colonels......:idunno:
