Louis Maniacci is the 6'8" kid inside and if he gets his head on straight and plays with heart and toughness he will definitely make a difference . He is playing on very tough AAU team in Ohio and showing some promise .

Is Collins really not playing .

I think one of the problems they'll have is on the O-line. They lost a few key players to graduation. Hopefully, someone will step up for the challenge.

What does Cooper need to do to improve . Please be constructive .

I didn't say he wasn't a good coach I said he needed to coach and no when to pick his battles . As far as holding it against him . He has brought it back with him by the way he has changed his coaching style and that has hurt him alot . Remember, no one critisized his coaching last year just the way he handles himself under pressure . He has already dipped in that pot this year with an outburst not to long ago . Just like i said before he needs to concentrate on coaching and not a boxing match with the parents . Baseball is a high school sport and not Little League .Parents need to realize that and so does Bieger .

Bieger put himself in the position he's in from the little tantrom he threw last in the middle of the game against Villa . He needs to know when and where to throw his tantroms and during a game in the middle of the field is not the place . Right or wrong that is not the place . He made himself look bad ,the school look bad and he made the parents of Cooper look bad . You don't call players out and parents out and exspect no recourse thats not the way society is today . So I hope he makes it through all of this and coach the way he knows how to coach. He definitely needs some work on his social skills.

The game was pretty much called both ways there wasn't much complaining about the Umps except a few but you consider its the beginning of the season so it wasn't that bad . The commit about the Coaches decision comes from when the program started and winning was pounded into these kids head and mistakes weren't tolerated . I was happy with showing .The kids played good , just I believe that Beiger wasn't on his "A" game remember just my opinion. He has definitely changed.

Congrats to the Cougars , they played solid defense and came threw with some key hits in the 4th off of Thompson to go a head by 1 . Very good start by the freshman Dunn I thing he was pitching a no hitter until replaced by Thompson but a very interesting lineup by Beiger against a district opponent. Thompson and Collins with 1 bat a piece late in the game and then having the start of a freshman on the mound . IMO It didn't look like he was to worry about trying to go for the win with the late subs when they were down by 1 .

It was a cold night in Newport but a very nice job by the Jags . Keep it up boys . Good luck on Sat.

The haven't played bad . They usually keep it close then can't finish so hopefully this will break the ice .

Didn't get to make the game but heard its was last second shot by Bradley.

Is Davis the 6'8 freshman ? Cooper plays wednesday afternoon not sure what time .

The jags played good defense decent board play but need to work on the press .

Great job by the Jags they stayed with the Eagles up until 3 minutes left in the third . Jags had a chance to go up on the Eagles but dropped one in the end zone which would have put them up 25-22 :taz:and also Jags recovered a fumble by the Eagles on their 40 but in return gave it right back to them a play later . Congrats Cooper, good game you guys kept your heads on straight (just a fe w mistakes) but overall you kept your composure . Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job behind the plate for Kilbourn .

Morris will be a good QB but their is alot of work to be done for him to compete at the Varsity level. He is very agile and quick but not very big and has to learn to use his Offense of threat in the spread. He has to work on keeping his head up and looking down the field but it will come in due time . Good luck to Jags.:ylsuper:

Cooper have a few freshmen that will have alot of playing time at the Varsity level. Carrella , Blank, Collins, and Morris played very well last year and also had a good summer season.

You are reaching out there by saying he was their stud pitcher, to be considered a stud he has to be in control of his pitching and attitude which was a little wild sometimes like the Conner game . So we'll say he was a decent pitcher. Hopefully he will get a opportunity to pitch at Boone .
