Pope of course, not every player a coach selects for his team works out perfectly, it’s on him to correct the problem and move forward, and I feel like he will do just that.

You can find stats on every coach out there that are not necessarily positive so this is just par for the course.

I’m still not putting Pope under the bus, he understands the deficiencies of this team and will do everything in his power to correct, he’s knowledgeable and the players know this, time to correct and move forward.

This has been a pattern but today those step back 27 footers that were falling consistently, especially in the first half would be tough for any team anywhere to defend, one three Bama nailed was from about 30 feet, so today’s game I throw out of the pattern, and this team still has lots of upside and Pope will figure out a way to get this team ready for March.

Agree with most on still a work in progress but I’m giving Bama a bunch of credit for their shooting and pace of play, would have been very difficult for most teams to keep up today.

He showed much more than just potential this season, and his arm strength is really good, sounds like you didn’t even watch him play this season?

These pre Xmas games with lower tier opponents are very much hard to predict with effort and efficiency, I’m throwing this one out and know a different team will take the floor vs Bama.

This is what happens when you have a full squad on the floor and role players doing a good job off the bench, first time this has happened.

Very solid win with defense and aggressive play all over the floor for 40 minutes, the only thing remaining is to shoot the basketball better outside, this can happen but realistically needs more consistency.

Serious statement made here by MC, Feldhaus doesn’t need to fall down to be effective on the floor so forget the theory that he gets special treatment on the floor, that’s bull crap!!

These two teams are kinda in the same situations with inconsistent play and rough shooting nights, team that makes shots wins this one.

Watched the game live, they did everything right on offense with screening and moving without the ball, just not shooting the rock well, bad misses with air balls and complete bricks, just nothing pure, played extremely hard and left skin on the floor several times and the faithful fully recognized the efforts, hopefully a launch game for Ky.

There were bunches of times during WCS and Boogies playing days that their efforts were questionable as well, easy to be critical of teams when things aren’t going so well, positivity IMO would benefit just as well.

What WCS has to say doesn’t really matter at all as far as this team is concerned, every team assumes a different identity and this team hasn’t really assumed one yet, Pope will figure it out and that’s a guarantee. Cal is gone and has his own identity at Arkansas so he doesn’t have anything to do with this current team.
