The Red Storm of St. John's University (6-3) will be taking on the Wildcats of Kentucky (7-4) as part of the CBS Sports Classic being held this year in Atlanta. The Red Storm have a game on Tuesday vs. a pretty good DePaul team before the game with the Cats. The game is scheduled for a 12:30pm tip. Go Cats!!

These two teams are kinda in the same situations with inconsistent play and rough shooting nights, team that makes shots wins this one.

Pretty excited to see Cats win a bully ball game against Indiana.  Can’t remember the last time we won in that fashion.  Afraid our shooting will fail us against Coach Pitino.

I think for the Cats to get the win today they will have to be able to handle the physically of the Red Storm. They will also need to at least shoot a respectable % from 3. Go Cats!!

Plus two NFL games including a good one in the Packers at the Bears.

Not a good start on the offensive end two possessions and two turnovers.

However on the defensive end they have had 3 straight blocked shots.

That is right!

In the past that was always a great thing but now the timing of the Saturday NFL games needs to be reviewed, we needed them last week, not this week.

So sad Lowe checked in played :07 seconds and looked like his shoulder went out again he reached to knock away a ball no contact at all really and he grabbed at his shoulder and ran right off the floor straight to the locker room.

On a positive note Jayden Quaintance making his first appearance for the first time in a game in over 9 months.

Cats have their first lead at 10-8 just under 7.5 minutes into the game.

Cats led 10-8 at the under 12 medial timeout. Defense has been good so far the offense not so much.

The Cats have now committed 6 turnovers in just over 10 minutes of gametime. They do have 5 blocks on the defensive end.

An ugly game offensively for both teams with only 7:52 left in the first half the score is St. Johns 14 Kentucky 12. St. Johns is shooting 24% and Kentucky 30%. The Cats are once again from 3 they are 0-4 so far.

I don't think the Eagles and Commanders game after this will be this ugly.
