So Ky ended up with 23 different lineups in the game last night and none over 3 minutes!! How is any team in existence suppose to maintain tempo and pace under these conditions???

That’s just it, start your best five players, adjust to an 8 man rotation when needed and quit trying to please everyone and let’s play basketball!!

No defensive presence, no switching defenses, Edward’s still starting and playing minutes undeserved, subbing in and out with players on eggshells afraid of making a mistake, opponents dunking on out of bounds situations, three 7 footers that aren’t in any form a part of the offense, pick and roll defense horrific, just typical Cal coached Ky teams 18 games into the season, shouldn’t be surprising at all but sickening to watch and experience.

If this is truly happening during basketball season, it’s a slap in the face to basketball at Boyle Co and needs to be addressed by AD and administration.

Shooters need time and minutes to get shooting rhythm, platooning doesn’t allow these shooters their rhythm, sitting out 5 minutes, playing 5 minutes, doesn’t allow this to happen, I think a very viable point concerning this discussion, maybe you can understand this?

Agree 100% , no idea why he continues to start games with zero production!! Offensively or defensively!!

Those guys you mentioned couldn’t play for anyone, so easy decision to make, Cal will lean toward playing and starting Wagner regardless of production.

Wagner’s consistent turnover ratio will hurt this team more and more as the season progresses, it has already cost Ky one, maybe two more wins, this team has no chance to succeed in postseason play with the basketball in his hands. Just my opinion as I watched them play live last night and also two other home games.

Nice workmanlike win, still a guy that thinks Shep should start the game, beginning of the second half, no Shep and MissSt had a 13-0 run and Cal should have taken a timeout after the first three baskets of that run, but no, he waits until they score 7 more points before using a much needed timeout and gets Shep in the game, then Ky gets their double digit lead back, just not understanding why Shep doesn’t start the game and also start the second half, Wagner doesn’t need to be starting right now, Ky plays much better when he is sitting.

Ky. Is a 6.5 favorite, surprising they aren’t favored more, IMO
