  1. That would be the perfect scenario! We need you to win the lottery soon! Haha. I think Cynthiana/Paris would be a great location for that large of a gym.
  2. I do not see what is difficult about this, really. The region tournament should be held at the most centrally located facility that can hold it. To make Montgomery and Clark drive to the BOK is not fair and in that same vein it is not fair to ask Scott to drive to Montgomery County for a 7:30 ball game. Do what's best for all schools collectively and not just two or three schools. The most centrally located spot that has the facilites to hold the region would be where? There is the answer, in my opinion.
  3. Deming played with great effort and never trailed by more than 13. Pendleton did manage a 7-13 point spread through the second half, though. Pendleton did what it needed to do to secure the 3 peat. Good luck to both teams in region!
  4. Harrison looked extremely frustrated on offense. What did Pendleton do to them or was it an off night for Harrison?
  5. Believe they've played 4 overtime games this season. Beat Cov Cath, and I believe Desales or another team at the Oldham County Christmas tournament. And then Lost to Brossart & Grant Co.
  6. Sharp 6th & 8th grade picked up nice district wins tonight at Newport.
  7. Carlisle will be rocking on this night! Basically the district championship game, with a region tournament game type feel for it.
  8. He actually finished is career last spring at Central State College in Ohio I believe? He finished his eligibilty there starting both year's and averaging double figures. I know he had been working out with Chris Lofton over the summer and Lofton and his agent had been trying to find him work over sea's. Don't know that anything became of it but thats the latest update I have on him.
  9. Harrison strikes first and second blood with hard fought wins over PC's freshman and JV tonight in Falmouth. Harrison has some good looking players coming up the next few years.
  10. Turkeyfoot was actually up 32-26 with under 2 minutes to go and Sharp took the lead with 20 seconds left 33-32. There was a questionable foul called that sent Turkeyfoot to the free throw line in the bonus were they made 1 and missed the second to send the game to OT. I thought there was some call's in that run that could have gone either way but in overtime Turkeyfoot shot 8 free throws to Sharps 3 to help seal the win.
  11. Turkyfoot 8th grade beat Sharp(Pendleton County) 44-37 last night in overtime I believe. 7th grade Turkeyfoot beat Sharp as well by about 5 and the 6th grade game was also won by Turkeyfoot by double digits.
  12. Absolutely agree there...that's why we love sports. Never know what will happen or who will step up.
  13. I will leave the analysis to the experts. The only thing I see from reading this is PC came back from 15 down to beat a team that had just taken Scott County to the wire. So that qualifies as a quality win for those young men and all must not be THAT bad. Good win for the Wildcats.
  14. Heard some guy got thrown out at the end of the JV game for hollering at the ref "You need some glasses." If thats the case how many fans should be thrown out of games for hollering the same thing. If this is true does anyone know of someone who has been thrown out of a game for saying less?
  15. Will be nice to see how Pendleton County responds after a not so hot outing vs Clark County in the AIT. As the old saying goes, If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.
  16. When a team lets you get to the rim as much as Bracken let Monroe and shoot wide open three's he's bound to have that many IMO. I agree on antrobus stepping up as a scorer but I think Rering could be the second best option with his ability to shoot from outside and drive, along with scoring in the paint.
  17. I feel this is pretty accurate. Flip flop Montgomery & Brossart, and maybe Harrison & Scott a few spots up. Can't see how any of these teams could complain with their spot right now.
  18. Cov. Cath got cheated. We get it. Let it go. True about Montgomery County, I forgot Handshoe was out with their losses. I wrote too soon on that. GRC is playing well though and in the top tier.
  19. With GRC establishing themselves as the favorite in the 10th how do fans see this first round AIT matchup going?
  20. Believe they will play the host school Oldham Co tomorrow night at 7:30.
  21. Pendleton from what I'm told had 34 at the end of three quarters and overcame a double digit deficit in 4th quarter. Antrobus must have had a special night. Congrats to that young man.
  22. Gabe Antrobus led team with 19. Next highest scorer for PC was Austin Pyles with 13. Starters sat most of the 2nd half.
