Wow! This sounds like another great game.

Unbelievable game in Falmouth. Covcath made buzzer beaters in the first and second overtime to extend the game. The first was a floater and the third was a three from the volleyball line. In the third overtime, Pendleton's Gabe Antrobus hit a three with five seconds left to send it to a fourth overtime.

 

Covcath's sophomore point guard is an outstanding player. Mason Monroe had 19 points in the first half for Pendleton, and battled through cramps in the third and fourth overtimes.

I like kids who know their role and play it well and don't try to do things they can't: just defend, pass, and rebound when you

can.

Very emotional game packed with twists and turns. Both teams hit big shot after big shot. Cov Cath hit two buzzer beaters in order to extend the game and Gabe Antrobus hit one to put it in 4th OT.

Both teams played with so much heart. One could not wish for a better high schoolgame. What great play from each of the point guards! Congrats to Gibson and Appelman who alternated in guarding the Colonels' point man and in my opinion wore him down at the end but he still came up with a clutch 3. CovCath was fun to watch and will definitely be a contender in the ninth region.

Covcath's point guard fouled out on a questionable foul call. There was a lot of yelling from everywhere, and next thing I knew there was a technical on CovCath's bench.

Bluegrass officials who do 10th and 11th Regions do NOT allow assistant coaches up and yelling at officials. They will talk and listen to head coaches.

 

They will not tolerate the assistants doing that.

 

Have no clue what was said but assistant was up and something was being said to official.

 

The BBA from top down does not tolerate it. I know that personally.

Great game and a joy to watch. Thank you to both team's players for making it a great night.
