The Falcons is the only team I can understand because of Penix coming knee surgery and Tua is one tackle away from another concussion. This has to be one of the better if not the best matchup this coming Friday night. In a huge 6A clash the Frederick Douglass Broncos (1-0) travel west to Louisville to take on the Manual Crimsons (2-0) kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm. The Broncos are coming off their bye week after an impressive 41-20 home win over 4A power Highlands in which they scored 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter for the win. The Broncos are led on offense by Mr. Football candidate Dakari Talbert who rushed for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win. However, it is the Broncos defense that may well be their calling card as they are very athletic and hard hitting. The Crimsons are 2-0 on the season and had a statement win in my opinion by going to South Warren and walking out with a impressive 42-21 win. The defeated Central 37-6 to start the season. They also in preseason held CAL to just 10 points in a 10-6 loss. I think this game will be much like 2 years ago at Manuel where both of these defenses look very good it may come down to a turnover or a special teams play to get the win. Well if that is the case myself and almost everyone else you are already busted before the first snap. I have yet to see anyone have the Steelers winning the Superbowl much less even make the AFC title game.
