After watching the Rebels scrimmage MC. I don't think there will be that many team that will be able to run on the Rebs again this year. But, if someone can pass, I think that is where we might have trouble. In the scrimmage we let alot of receivers behind us. If improve in pass defense then the will be only the injury factor. Offense should be ok going by the scrimmage. And Reese in the real deal, fast and can cut on a dime. Rebels 35 JC 7

Was standing on the sidelines and we looked really good on Offense. Defense looked okay but I hope we do not have many injuries. The V-offense and 5 TD, the defense a int returned for a TD and the JV had 3 TD's. And I left with 3 min. to go in the 3rd Q. So we may have scored more after that. Reese at one point had 143 yards on 4 carriers and all of that in the 1st Q.

My bad. That is correct. Just shows that not much went on during his era. I can recall standing on the sideline one game. It was third down and about 1 to go. Coach Griggs turned around and told the punt team to get ready.

Congrats to Bell Co. on great year and a undefeated season. Bullitt East played a great game and had a good season. I thought this game would have been one sided, but BE gave Bell a good game.

I agree with Rebel. It was First Class all the way. Both teams gave it there all last night. Bell has a very good team. You can not have 6 turnovers in a game like this and expect to win. Bell turned them into points (as a good and well coached team would do) and won the game. Boyle had a good year and hope to meet you guys again next year. Good luck in Louisville.

Great looking bunch of Football players. They look pretty big. Our young men and tall and quick, but not that big. It is bad that one team has to lose tonite. Good luck tonite and may there be no injuries. God Bless both teams.

I'll believe Bell Bobcat, when you say that Howard is strong and massive. But Grant has been up against one player that is I believe just as strong. I think his name was Simpson from Henry Clay. He was ranked one of the the best 5 centers in the Nation, and I think he held his own in that game. Simpson is about 6'4"and weights about 310. I'm not taking anything away from the Howard kid. I just have not heard anything about him yet. But I guess we will Friday. If he is that big and strong then Kentucky should be looking at him.

I agree with you super. I also think that, with both defences being that good it might just come down to one of the defences scoring to win the game. Can anybody tell me how many career wins both coaches have?

I still think the rebels will win 20-7. Boyle's extra point team has had a extra point blocked the last game. And have come close to having one block in the last 5 or 6 games.

I agree with both of you that 21 points will win the game. I also believe that whoever wins this game will win it all. You know the old saying, offence sales tickets and defence wins champships. Both defence are solid and have good personel and that is why I think both offences will struggle.

I don't have that stat on me at this time but I bet Rebel knows. The def. this year seems to fly to the ball quicker (all 11 players).

From everything that I have heard this is going to be a dandy of a football game. Bell has a very good defence, I mean if you have only allowed 32 points in 3 games. They run the ball well and from everything I have read in the paper they have a good passing attack. Boyle has the best run defence I have seen. That encludes the when they won the state 5 times. Bell will have a hard time running on Boyle and that means they will have to pass. Boyle pass def. as the mind set of bend but don't break.
