  1. How does that shoe money to coaches work?
  2. Browns in talks to bring in Jameis Winston as back up QB.
  3. To summarize, the Bengals trade Mixon's $8M contract to the Texans and replace that $8M with Moss, Gesicki and a draft pick.
  4. Mixon is #4 in the NFL in rushing yards since he came into the league.
  5. Nice! That two year contract is paying off for the Bengals.
  6. How long would it take to get out of any parking lot like that? I sat forever getting in and out of Kroger Field at the high school state championships.
  7. And it is worth it IMO. I don't think any other place in N. Ky. could have held the crowd Sunday. And probably the same tonight.
  8. There is no better example of how a business monopoly will abuse people than Ticketmaster. They are charging an $8 fee to buy a ticket for tonight. Come on T Swift! You have the power to fix this! You are "The Man". (Queu it up @theguru)
  9. I like the face of the city having a cross on it.
  10. Milwaukie dominated the rebounding and NKU could not keep Milwaukie in front of them in the second half. At least 90% of Milwaukie's second half points were scored in the paint. Robinson was a beast for NKU. Over 30 points, career high. Warrick could not get to the rim and could not create enough space to get a shot. At one point he was 2-15.
  11. Moss played very well for the Colts while Taylor was out. Rushed for 165 yards against the Titans. Averaged 4.3 ypc vs. 4.0 for Mixon. But he was running behind the Colts' offensive line. Budget move. Comparable player for half the cost. Much less wear on Moss. Also, Chase Brown has to be the starter now. Moss will get a lot of carries but look for Brown to be the lead back.
  12. I am definitely on the fence on a long term deal and for sure do not want to pay him more than Pittman. I am good keeping him this year on the tag. Give it one more try at a SB with him and Chase together. Then next year tag and trade if there is value in the risk.
  13. This team took a loooooong time to learn things. We have all seen it. It took most of the season to learn how to defend the high pick and roll. They still mess it up. I have seen teams run the same offensive set over and over and over and this team still didn't defend it. Common basketball sense and experience should enable these players to recognize the play, but not this team. How many times have teams run inbounds plays against UK over and over and these guys still don't recognize it? These are things I don't remember happening to Calipari teams in the past. Defense is usually a strong suit for a Calipari team. I think this team is a slow to learn defensive group. I watch Sheppard on defense and he still loses track of his man watching the ball. He is much better but still makes that basic mistake. And he isn't alone on this team.
  14. Close hard fought game into the fourth quarter. The final margin does not reflect the game.
  15. Michael Pittman signing for 3 years, $71 million. Higgins is not worth more than Pittman. The Bengals have the money to do a deal like that for Higgins. I am sticking with my info and saying Higgins doesn't want to be in Cincinnati. If he is traded, he will get a contract worth less than Pittman's unless it is a trade to the Titans.
  16. Do you think Juedy is more valuable than Higgins?
  17. Tyson weigh 165 or less? Are they fighting at a nursing home?
  18. Contrary to the reports from the professional insiders, my insider has been telling me for a year that Higgins does not want to be in Cincinnati. None of this surprises me. I look for a draft day trade of Higgins if there is a WR available in the draft that the Bengals can get in a trade - Higgins for the draft pick, hopefully a couple picks. For the right WR pick, I am ok trading Higgins.
  19. He does not exert his influence on the game. Way to much let the game come to me. And Lloyd coaching doesn't seem to run things to use his talent.
  20. Nothing complex about the last minute melt down. Same stuff these players have seen since middle school. UK got the ball in on every possession. Reed slipped. Dillingham, only in the game because Wagner fouled out, has a turnover as he often does. Reeves with a brain cramp. None of these fixable by any coach, unless Cal is allowed to go on the floor and dry up the wet spots. Why are you convinced UK has not practiced EOG situations?
  21. Here is a different angle on this discussion. Why do teams only talk about dropping out of district in football? Why not baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc? There are schools that have no chance at a district title and also lose most of their games in those sports also. Why do they stay in district play in those sports?
