Blah, Blah, Blah. Does a new coach turn Greenup around that fast and how insulting is that to the coaches in the past? Were they that bad? What if it wasn't the coaching? What are the past coaches of Greenup doing now? Will all the talk give them a chance? These Questions and more will start to be answered Friday night! I CAN'T WAIT!

I agree Trent Hardy is a beast and will be very hard to deal with on the OL and DL!!! and DeMartino will open alot of eyes this year. Swift had a great year last year I hope he can keep it up because it's just what the Tomcats Need this year!

Carter rushed for 1500 yards last season....I look for him to go over that this year! I also seen him during the off season and I can tell you he's definately geared to go!

How does Greenup feel about the first game?????

Rashard Carter from Ashland will be a Senior for the 2010 season. A definite force to be reckoned with. It's amazing to watch him play. Rushed for 1500 yds in 2009 and didn't even play a full game sometimes.

I've heard Coach Tackett's name tossed around for the past two seasons!

Not with playing Ashland the very first game!

Carter is in school and cannot wait to get on the field. Everything is just rumors....Ashland is where he's at and where he wants to play. Good luck to the Tomcats this season!!

I heard that he was asked and turned it down right away. as far as Steve Dowdy.... I can't see him leaving Ashland...just my opinion!

Thanks Ball brain I'll keep the faith, I was just trying to understand the basics of the spread. There have been a lot of Answers to my questions. Now I can't wait till next season.

I didn't understand why you would change after the season that Carter and Alber had this year. Why would you go to a spread offense after losing most your line to graduation? Are they ready to give up on their running game and turn it over to a Sophomore quarterback (Hunter) with no promising receivers? Or do they know something that no one else knows?

Just wondering if what I heard was true and what will it do to Ashland's run game for 2009?

These 3 guys will be unstoppable next year! They sure gave it their all and had a good season....can't wait to watch them next year!:thumb:

I have seen Ashland play both Johnson Central and Highlands. Although I thought that Johnson Central played a very good game, I just don't think they have what it takes to beat Highlands. The Ashland/Highlands game was extremely physical...I hope there are no injuries!

Well then, let me please rephrase this....MOST people disn't think that Ashland could "hang" with a NKY team....we did with Dixie Heights, so....DON'T UNDERESTIMATE!!!:fire:
