So I like Henley, think he is a good coach, super calm guy it looks like. But that calm demeanor TOTALLY must be his personality, because he came to my work today and another day and was dry as can be to talk to.

lol, Wellbrocks free throws are scary. I mean I'm assuming he is working on them, but I just don't see how he can miss that many. And the funny part is, he'll brick off the back board, the next one airball lol. Good night for him on the boards though. Shooting 50% from the 3pt is sooo much better than what we have been doing ha.

Good to hear some insight on the game, because I couldn't make it. Glad to see Isler and Wellbrock play well! IMO they should be starting together again. Did Counts do well? Sorrell can hit his shots like no other, the only problem is, he has a SLOW shot. And he really hurts you aside from his shot on defense and dribbling. I think when the team NEEDS the threes he is an obvious go to, but I don't see how to work him into the lineup too much.

I know, I'm shocked CovCath won as well!! jk. I was a bit shocked by the margin as well.

I don't think it will be a walk in the park for CovCath either. As proven by the past two years, it never is. But I do think they are the favorite for sure.

You're a trip dude. After Maile the team becomes average huh? I'd say that Isler, Darner and Nutini are well above average. And the rest of the team is more than average as well. I totally understand your support for NCC, as I am the same way when it comes to CovCath, but don't act like CovCath is just "average". They are far from.

Yeah. I know Isler played pretty bad, he wasn't very happy with himself. But I don't see what Counts brings to the lineup honestly. I could name a few other players I'd play before him.

I think they likely will if they get past this Maryland team. Don't see them losing to Highlands, or Boone or Scott.

I never read into things like this, or polls or whatever. I mean my brothers team has been number one for the past two years in NKY and haven't been able to muscle their way out of the regional championship despite having some amazing baseball players on the team. I just think it's interesting to look at, especially since I've seen the kid play.

No. I think there are other plays in NKY better than him as well. But he is def. not better than Maile. Which is why I say that 2010 must be weak, because if Jones is ranked 90 something, and Maile is ranked 100 and whatever in the 09 class..hmm.

Isler did not start because Listerman decided to put Counts into the starting lineup, and gave Wellbrock the nod for the last starting position. I think Wellbrock def. needs to be in there, although he does need to increase his production, but I'm not sure why Counts is all of a sudden starting. Anyone know how he played last night?

It's not a knock, relax. I saw the kid early in the season, in the middle or whenever they played CovCath and also towards the end. Every game I saw, he had errors, he hit decent and wasn't anything outstanding. He is a good ball player in NKY, sure. He is a good ball player period. But top in the country, I just don't see it, and I don't think I'm alone in that. And I would consider the scouts and colleges to carry more weight than my opinion as well, so glad we're on the same page with that:thumb: But those scouts and colleges better hope he picks it up.

lol, yeah I heard that one too. Sad thing is Beechwood and CovCath lost by about the same amount of points. But obviously CovCath is under their norm and Beechwood is above.

From what I heard Wellbrock had a couple points and played okay. Not too much production though. Isler had a bad game, just didn't have his head in it tonight. So I would say the inside production wasn't that great. I mean looking at it Maile and Ives had most of the points. I did hear the whole team played lackadaisical and like they did not want to be there.

He is a good ball player, but honestly if he is 90 something in the 2010 class that is a weak class.

I highly doubt Coach Ray will be returning as the coach.

Covcath student section is pathetic. And it has to do with a lack of spirit among the senior class. It's just embarassing. I don't really care how bad your team is, they are still your friends and you can come out for them. Have heard that a lot of football players do their best to show up at basketball games, despite the dismal season, because of the way it felt when NO ONE showed up to their games this past football season.

Dont know about St Henry and Dixie, thats a toss up. Neither are very good. They may be playing decent as of late, but they still arent that outstanding. The rest I pretty much agree with.
