I never read into things like this, or polls or whatever. I mean my brothers team has been number one for the past two years in NKY and haven't been able to muscle their way out of the regional championship despite having some amazing baseball players on the team. I just think it's interesting to look at, especially since I've seen the kid play.

Yupp. I was friends with everyone in HS. And I always made a point to get on my friends [all of them] to recognize this because it was amazing the people would call foul and them committ a foul a day later. One thing that always made me REALLY happy though is that, the south has this reputation for being so racist, and we have our Confederate flag waving proudly type deal. But outside of a couple of people, at my school of 3500 or whatever ridiculous number it was, everyone got along. It didn't matter what color. The people in Ralph Lauren Polo's and Sperrys, would go boating with the people who lived in the "bad" part of my town. It was great.

Of course they do. UofL IS the little baby brother to UK basketball. Deuce don't kill me, I'm only kidding. I don't know to be honest. Why should UofL feel like the little brother? It does seem like they have a bit of a chip on the ole shoulder, but that is what happens when youre gung ho about your team.

No. I think there are other plays in NKY better than him as well. But he is def. not better than Maile. Which is why I say that 2010 must be weak, because if Jones is ranked 90 something, and Maile is ranked 100 and whatever in the 09 class..hmm.

Very true. Often people play into the stereotypes. I saw that a lot down home in SC. It has always kind of bothered me when my black friends would get SO upset when someone would make a comment to them that could be percieved as racist, but then when they made nasty comments back or just in general, they laughed it off and acted like it was no big deal. Racism goes BOTH ways.

You know, I didn't see it, because I hadn't yet got home from work, but it sounds like maybe everyone involved INCLUDING AI is being sensitive. We have had MUCH worse representation then some bluegrass bonjo music being played as an intro and AI making a big deal out of "Yall be careful". He wasn't threatening them, but the point of the show is for entertainment, and we may not have found it funny, but someone probably did. Was the guy good, or was he bad? As for how they percieved us..no offense, but this is probably the best look we have gotten lol. There was a show on MTV called "Engaged and Underage" like a year or two ago. It was in Florence, KY, where I live. I swear they could not have done a more inaccurate rep. of us. They showed the water tower, and then a newly turned 18 yr old who was getting married to her much older boyfriend, and they already had a toddler, [may have been like four] and a newborn. It made us look like hilljack city. I had friends call me like "Ew is that really where you moved to?" but it was a totally bogus representation. It's all for entertainment. Kentucky will always get that. Doesn't mean it's okay, but eh.

Isler did not start because Listerman decided to put Counts into the starting lineup, and gave Wellbrock the nod for the last starting position. I think Wellbrock def. needs to be in there, although he does need to increase his production, but I'm not sure why Counts is all of a sudden starting. Anyone know how he played last night?
