The ugliest 3-3 record possible but a win is a win. Seattle is a good football team, so that means the Bengals are a good team, too. We haven’t played like it consistently. Two excellent opening drives and then our offense was offensive - lol!

We have had some poor offensive halves this year and will be lucky to win.

Same here about Trey. The person I know who lives next door to him refers to him as a big ole lovable teddy bear.

I expect a game that could go either way and believe the Raiders will win a close one. In the CC-SK thread, you stated that Smith threw for 116 yards and a TD. Great Crossing and Campbell are below average passing teams. Verax and friends will have a lot of success by ground, air (and maybe sea on the Raiders ship - lol!)

I gladly eat some tiger-flavored crow. I held my nose and voted for the Cardinals believing Joe B would still be immobile. Instead, he was much closer to normal. The Bengals have a looooong way to go but were in similar shape in 21 and 22. Beat the next set of Birds at home next week and get to the bye at 3-3.

Ryle is not a 6A title contender, neither is Simon Kenton.

If Joe B continues to play without his normal escapability and uncanny scrambling ability, the Redbirds will win. Many of the Bengal victories the past 2 years would have been losses without Joe’s mobility. He is not the same player right now that we are used to seeing.

On way to parking lot I heard a 70-yard pass reception then a one yard TD run to make it 56-35.

Nice drive by X and surviving a near miss on a pick 6 by Ryle. Yates then punches it in from 5 yards out. 56-28 X with 7:43 to play. I’m headed home. Great effort by Ryle. X was clearly better.

3 and out and nice punt and good coverage. X takes over at 41 with 9:20 to play.

One first down then punt downed at Ryle 12. Raiders take over 10:44 ti play.

Another nice 80-yard TD drive by Ryle. Two big pass plays to Lyons and Lee and a couple runs by Savage. A nice scramble and about a 15 yard TD pass from Verax to Savage. 49-28 X with 2:19 to go in 3Q.

Congrats to Highlands. The Birds have asserted themselves as the best team in NKY at this point in the season.
