3-1 Russell debuts in the top 10 this week and will be hosting 5A Montgomery. Montgomery has struggled since week 1 and is at 1-3. Russell is becoming known for a stingy defense. Montgomery will have to overcome that to get the win.

4-0 Taylor County steps up against the bigger opponent this week as they travel to 6A Simon Kenton. Simon Kenton is 2-2 and fresh off of a loss to Highlands. Who wins?

4-0 Glasgow and their high powered offense will be hosting 3-1 Hart County this week. The two teams do have one common opponent in Monroe County. Glasgow beat Monroe County 57-14 while Hart County lost to Monroe 40-22. Who wins?

3-1 Paducach Tilghman hosts 4A Calloway County this week. Calloway comes in at 0-4 and is wanting to leave Paducah with a win.

Ashland stumbled a little bit last week and look to recover from that It will not be an easy task as Ohio Division V #2 Ironton comes to town. The two share a common opponent in this young season in Wheelersburg, OH. Wheelersburg beat Ashland last week in Overtime. In the first week, Ironton beat Wheelersburg 30-6. However those two losses are to Catholic and to St X so the quality of their schedule is very high.
