Belfry turned the ship around last week, getting back in the win column. This week they travel to Floyd Central for a district 8 contest. The Jags are 2-4 but looking to make a statement. Who wins?

Belfry in a running clock.

I have heard a lot of "static" coming out of Pond Creek in the wake of back to back losses and a sudden losing streak at the Middle School that has not been experience in years.

The best thing Belfry can do right now is get back to winning and hopefully in the process also get everyone rested and healed.

Seems like Dixon is in the process of healing up, Mounts the inside linebacker seems healthy and Coleman is getting lots of playing time at quarterback. Birchfield is an excellent corner and has done a good job filling in for Dixon at halfback. They all should be fine tuned and ready to go come playoff time. If healthy they will be dangerous.

I believe the middle school is dealing with a couple of significant injuries. Quarterback and running back. I watched them play Pikeville middle and they looked pretty good.
