4-0 Taylor County steps up against the bigger opponent this week as they travel to 6A Simon Kenton. Simon Kenton is 2-2 and fresh off of a loss to Highlands. Who wins?

I’m going with Simon Kenton by 7. I think this will be competitive game.

Tre Goodin is one of the better unheralded players in the state. I know this is a 6A vs. a 3A and its on the road, but I'm going to pick Taylor County in perhaps a mild upset.

This will be close but I say Taylor County by a score.

Simon Kenton by a touchdown.

Homecoming night for the Neers and after viewing Taylor County's stats they better be ready to stop the run. SK hasn't shown the offensive fire power of the past, I see a low scoring, close game with SK winning by a score.

19-0 SK with five left in quarter 2.

SK pick in the EZ, Neers at 49.

SK 12 yd TD pass, Ivey. No good on PAT. 25-0 with 3:42.

SK blocks a last second FG, SK almost takes it to the house. 25-0.

The current score isn't surprising. Only thing that was surprising about this game is that folks really thought it would be a one score game.

32-0 with 3:08 in 3rd.

32-0 with 3:08 in 3rd.

SK is young and will continue to get better as the season progresses. Doesn't mean they won't take their lumps but folks predicting a loss against an average 3A team likely got their attention.
