#7 Mercer County currently has momentum by the buckets. They look to continue hot play this week against Western Hills. Western Hills has a streak of their own having won their last two after an 0-3 start. Who wins?

To all our Rebel and Bearcats fans... and ALL BGPrep football fans looking for a game to attend.... we would love for you to join us for the Horn Home Improvement Homecoming Game tomorrow night at Alvis Johnson Stadium. Just went by the stadium and the field is perfect. We have the best tailgating set up for enjoying the game.

 

Also, for all of you OLD Rebels and Bearcats, you may remember Harrodsburg HS great Vince Kinder, from the early 70's. Vince will be recognized as our Hog tomorrow night. You may have an old story about playing Vince and Harrodsburg HS many years ago.

 

One night back in the early 70's, my Dad kicked Vince in the tail after a tackle made near the Boyle sideline in the mud. I got that story from Vince this past winter. Don't think that would go over well in the 21st century.

 

We are excited to play tomorrow night and have a GREAT place to play. We are getting better and Western Hills is doing the same. October goes by fast and not sure how many more good weather nights we have ahead of us.... don't miss this one. See you at AJ!

Mercer by as much as the coach decides. Mercer is a very good team that has played a tough schedule. Running clock.

Hopefully it will be a game Mercer can work on some things they may need to get better at for future district/playoff games.
