Nice win for Woodford. Greenwell was the game breaker. Nice player. Johnson looks like he has a way to go to get his mobility back but his assists were big. GRC was flat early and just could never get back. Had they played the first 3 quarters like the fourth it would probably have been a different outcome. Time to file this one away and get ready for Mason on Friday.

Not surprised that HC could win but the margin is a shock. I had thought the pressure was getting to Central.

Yeah it has been a tough schedule. The last game against Dixie Heights was a late addition on an empty Saturday. Just added it for "funsies" I guess.

I don't follow the All A very closely but this is not a KHSAA sanctioned event correct? If it is not, won't the new NCAA ruling on non-scholastic events being held at the main practice or playing facility of an NCAA member limit were this tournament can be held? This would remove EKU, Diddle, etc. And with NKU moving up I would assume BOK is out also.

Great win in what sounded like a tough environment after a long wait to even play.

GRC bounces back with a win at N. Laurel on Friday and another on Saturday at home against Dixie Heights. Hope to be back in town in time for the game. I really would like to see Hatton play.

Rolling from his left side to his back or all the way to right side and maybe back again or any combination of that. All while controlling the ball in an effort to protect the ball from the other team while trying to find an opening to hand off or pass to a teammate. You see this more in women's college ball and it usually winds up as a jump ball. But it happens at all levels.

Good answer Clyde. To follow up from one of your examples: A1 dives for a ball that is rolling. A1 hits the floor, secures the ball, slides across the floor: nothing. Now after securing the ball, several players from both teams approach and in the ensuing entanglement the player with the ball begins to roll back and forth in an attempt to pass the ball to a teammate without being tied up. Is this a walk?

IMO this call is as inconsistant as the block/charge. I seen players fall and instantly be called for it and then I have seen them roll back and forth for what seems like seconds and then pass the ball and the play continues.

I really like Rowan's team alot. Will say that they beat Mason in a close game. Mason's schedule is tough right now, great time to get Black playing again. Even the losses, if their are any, should make them a tough out in the upcoming regional.

With a week to get ready I think Montgomery beats Mason even with Black.

Having seen both teams play this year, really surprised how close this game was especially at Central. Maybe Central, after the emotional ending of the Trinity game, being #1 in the AP and undefeated, the pressure is beginning to get to them a bit.

It definitely looks like Mason has turned the corner and their next few games will tell a lot. Is Harris going to make it back?

I only see a few games out of the 10th and 11th regions and can't say much about how other regions handle the coach sitting after the first T, but in these two regions I can't recall an incident where a coach was allowed to wander after the first T. I am sure it has happened but to me the rule seems to be generally enforced. I couldn't make the game but it sounds like GRC had to many turnovers at the end and that cost them the game. They have struggled a few times late in games this year with turnovers and missed free throws. It had to catch up with them sooner or later. I do know that I have never seen a ref call an over and back on the volleyball line, at least it was corrected. And after the questionable way the game ended last year I would have been surprised if this game went any different. GRC just needs to move on and get ready for the other gams this week.

Went to several games there the last time the regional was there and from a fan's perspective it seemed to work out well. All in all it's a nice facility.
