Wow, to quote another recent post in another thread you must be drinking the kool-aid. GRC's schedule was much more brutal.

No one can argue that GRC doesn't have size so you must be referring to discipline. They showed great discipline in running there offense against Scott and Pendleton.

Congrats to our Cards. They played a great game. Robbie practically broke the game open himself in the first quarter and Bopper was great as usual. Great games by everyone else. The crowd and students were tremendous. Loved the cruise down the Bypass and the impromptu pep rally at the school. Now let's ready for Rupp. Congrats to PC on a great post season run. You guys should be a factor next year in the region.

Only a few hours left to ride that horse. :deadhorse: But it has been a sweet run and Mason deserves congrats for the success of "Operation 3-peat." And I am sure they will be back again soon.

Lexington Catholic - 61 an Madison Central -56

PC has had huge turnouts and I would expect this will be their biggest yet. GRC will also have a big crowd. Does any know what time the ticket window opens?

While I am a little surprised it actually happened, have been saying for some time that Central was getting better and could upset the order of things in the 11th. They are a well coached young team that will contend bigtime in the 11th next year and apparantly this year now.

Pendleton will leave it all on the court Monday and I expect most of the county will be there. GRC has to come out focused like tonight. GRC 73-Pendleton 61.

Impressive win by GRC. Just need to remain focused and take it one night at a time. Daniel came to play tonight and the team is much better when he is on. Great game by Bopper.

Again and again Mason fans reply with the play on the court decides the game. NO ONE disputes that. no one. But it is the common courtesy of handing the tournament as a regional and not as the Mason invitational that is the point of where the fans sit, were the student sections are, etc. Mason has won and may win again this year but that does not justify the seating arrangements. This is a regional and deserves the courtesy and respect of Mason for all fans. Mason fans should be embarassed to have no retort other then they win and the game is decided on the court. That does not excuse the arrangements. Now as I have said in other posts let me save you all the time and reply for you: Mason wins everywhere, the game is decided on the court and we can care less what anyone says because since we win we can sit where we want anytime because we win and we have been sitting there since the beginning of time. If anyone has any other reason as to why the arrangements are as they are besides we win please state them.

If it was not a correctable error then to me that would be the issue. Whether he had 4 or 5 doesn't matter if it is not a correctable error. He should not have been "resurrected."

After having only seen one complete regional game so far I like the change. I thought the first 10th region game tonight was as well called a game as I have seen this year. I think the unfamiliarity between coaches, refs and players was good.

This should mess up a lot of prediction brackets. I really liked Ballard.

I agree GRC will have to play much better but from watching the Soctt game tonight it was hard to get a feel for Scott. They so overmatched Augusta it was hard to tell if they were that good or Augusta that bad. It should be a close game as usual. I'll say GRC 68 and Scott 62.
