I have heard they are hoping for the Male game next Saturday. He made tremendous improvement in a few hours in the 2009 regional so here's to hoping for another fast recovery.

Both teams should show the effect of the quick turnaround, a tired GRC by 5 over a tired Western. Here's hoping to another quick turnaround day around mid-March.

A very good win by a margin that is surpising without Zollo. The depth on this year's team is so much better than last years and it is showing.

I've got it, you've got it, we've all got it. Mason got the job done all three years. Is this mantra the only rebuttal you have. AGAIN who has won or who will win has nothing to do with the fact that Mason County goes above and beyond to get all the extra home court advantage they can get. And now let me go ahead and reply to my own post for you. "MASON WON ALL THREE YEARS IN THREE DIFFERENT GYMS AND CLARK DIDN'T."

You still just don't get it do you. Where or when Mason wins has NOTHING to do with what this thread is discussing. The thread is about the few things that Mason needs to correct, student seating, etc. Everyone agrees Mason has won everywhere. :deadhorse:

I also think the internet is one of the reasons. Things in life are so much faster than it used to, news travels faster, sites such as one allow instant news. Fans can communicate instantly, not when they just occasionally ran into each other at different games. The other thing is the new gyms have given places to compare to the Fieldhouse. People can see that it doesn't have to be way it was, there are options.

I thought that last overtime period point total looked odd also. That's a lot of points to be that deep into the bench and tired. But the game had to be something to see.

Christian by 30+, based on what they did to Bowling Green, seems reasonable.

Zollo is listed as 6'9" sometimes, but we all know how generous all teams measure their players.

They just can't see that it isn't a GRC issue or a Montgomery issue. It is an issue for any team that still has to play under these conditions. GRC and Montgomery just happen to be the most vocal. Whoever replaces them will still have to endure the way it is handled.

The 10th region is a great tournament wherever it is held. The teams, players, coaches and fans have a whole lot to do with that. But their are correctable issues with the way it is being handled at the Fieldhouse to make it even better. Since the tournament has been held their seemingly since the good Dr. Naismith invented the game, a generation or two of Mason County fans have grown up knowing no different. I know it was held at Montgomery and the BOK recently, but before that when was it not at Mason. I remember going to one at GRC when I was a kid in the late 60's, I think. These fans are under the understanding that their way is perfect and the only way. We are not saying they should never host the tourney, because it is a great atmoshpere for a high school game, but it could be even better for the rest of the fans with a few tweaks.

Very impressive. Looks like Christian was deserving of the rankings they have been getting while getting their football players intregrated into the team. Looks like they are clicking now.

As stated by MNCM Jaylan started the Warren Central game. Is Humphrey using the bench to motivate or is he just adjusting the lineup game situation by game situation. Which ever it is it's working. Jaylan certainly has the talent and athleticism. He is fun to watch and the the crowd gets excited when he is on a breakaway anticipating the dunk.

It is not about whether GRC wins or loses or any other team for that matter. It's that Mason goes out of their way to make sure they get their statement that it is their home court and their advantage. Sumoroyal understands but please don't exile this brave voice of reason.

After Mason, I would guess Montgomery.

I guess we can appreciate your honesty on the seating. I always get there anywhere from an hour to an hour half early to get decent parking and seating but there are always Mason fans on the first few rows on the GRC side. But I can handle that because the early bird gets the best seats. I do disagree with the students behind the visitors bench. It just seems to be asking for trouble and someday something serious may happen. Why take the risk? I have always thought the students should be put in the opposite end zones and there wouldn't be any issues. But all one hears is that the stage seats are "just to horrible to be used that way." Though no one seems to mind usng them for the general public. Oh well we only have 6 more weeks for this thread and similar ones so things I am sure will get more heated as we get closer and by the way the popcorn at the Fieldhouse isn't all that great.
