Hands down, best game in the Mountains.

They have just been running this offense for the past three seasons. The first year they ran somewhat of a double wing and some single back, they looked terrible on offense that year, but they had the talent to run anything.

Why, because I have common sense?

Belfry should be #1, JC should be #2 and Bell should be #3. Why is Corbin at #9? They should be higher. LCC beat a first year team and moved up 3 spots. Hazard lost a close game to a really good team and dropped 3-4 spots. The system is just crazy.

It's still a new school, new coach's, new system, and new players that the other kids have never played with before. Even though they didn't start playing football this year..... all of that NEW stuff matters.

I hate to hear that. Sounds like a tough loss for Coach Holbrook, don't worry though... I think he'll get things turned around before too long.

I think the the game was way too close then what it should have been. LCC is ranked 7 in the mountains and they had problems against a new school in their first game. (no disrespect to HC.) If LCC. doesn't pick it up, they could be in for a long season.

I'm not saying HC. doesn't stand a chance, that would be crazy to say. Did I say anything about LCC beating Harlan Co. in that post? No. I'm simply explaining that the logic of this team beat that team then that team beat another team so that means that this other team can beat that team.....see how crazy that looks? Doesn't work like that. Tom Larkey is one of the best Coach's in the State and I know everyone in Harlan Co. is excited about their new High School and supporting their new team....makes sense, I would be too.

Just as 3wishes said in another post, you're comparing like 4 teams there... Hazard beat LCC, but Cumberland played Hazard pretty close so Harlan Co. can beat LCC this year??? It doesn't work like that. Hazard beat Cumberland last year 46-20 and 33-27 so they only played them close once, which was in the playoffs. So I'm guessing the only reason for that one being close was Hazard didn't take them seriously after thumping them in the first meeting. Hazard beat Evarts 56-27 and 48-24, niether one of those look close.

WOW..That means absolutely NOTHING! That's actually quite funny.

I look for Letcher Co. Central to win anywhere from 7 to maybe even 10 games. (excluding playoffs)

That's the only reason I brought it up, no one is ever on here talking about them, and even if he meant it or not, he talked down about them. I support Jenkins, I live 15 minutes from there, and I hope nothing but for good things to happen to them.

Why is Hazard too high? They made it to the State Semi-Finals last year and they return EVERYTHING this year....... so too high??
