It's still early and rankings really does not mean anything but Pulaski still in top 10? I think Whitley Co. should be in their spot.

I agree swforever. The Mountain Top 10 confuses me every week in both football and basketball.

And, yes, Whitley County should be in the Top 10.

Preseason wins don't get you in. Whitley has only beat M'boro to date, that is no signature win. I expect Whitley to give Bell all they want and possibly pull off the upset. Then they will deserve the ranking.

I am not for sure on a couple of the other teams someone correct me if I am wrong, but how can you stay ranked at the bigging of the season with a first game loss ie Pulaski?

They were ranked so high, I guess they couldn't drop out completley. Also, no new teams entered the Top 10, the existing teams only shuffled. I believe Letcher Central moved the most spots (3) with a win over Harlan County.

Also 3 of those teams lost this week, I guess WYMT thinks that this is the cream of the crop in the mountains and the rest is just bubbly, ie: Knox Central.

The Mountain Top 10 is a joke. I would love to know how they're ranking system worked.

JP not t be confrontational, but tell me your top ten and the issues you have with the current poll. Personally I think HC should be there, but .......no one prolly cares what I think.

Hazard above Rockcastle after the spanking they put on Pulaski Co. Everything else I can almost agree with but I also question Whitley not being in over Pulaski.

It is still way early, WYMT gets it right towards the end of the year, there a lot of teams and only 10 spots. just think it used to be 5 spots.
