  1. Who got this job?
  2. I forget the first name. A former GC guy.
  3. Okay.. According to one of the interviewers (one who will conduct the interview) the people listed above are on the list of peope scheduled to be interviewed. I never suggested Billy Hicks wants the Grant job. I am assuming that at some point (possible within a few years) Billy Hicks will decide to retire. Will Hundly want to be his replacement whenever that happens? Does anyone have any insight on when that could possibly happen?
  4. Yes. I use the word confirmed, I haven't actually seen the resumes. There are like ten interviewers being used to form a couple of committees. One of these interviews told me. I didn't want to ask this person who all the applicants were, this list of names is just the people that I am vaguely famliar with. They all seem like good candidates. Whatever happens, Grant County Boys Basketball will be in good hands. Is it logical to assume that Hundly will want to try and get the Scott County job when Billy Hicks retires? If so, how long until this occurs?
  5. I heard there were twenty applicants. Confirmed applicants are: Joe Utter Hundly Steve Wright Simpson (Not sure on first name) Tim Mefford Tyler Jones I do not know all of them but these few are indeed in the mix. This is a pretty good list and the administration has a difficult choice ahead of them. I wish them the best.
  6. Is it open enrollment or based on address? Do the Freshman or Sophomores at Shelby have the option of remaining at shelby?
  7. No. The wheels are starting to turn though.
  8. I See. I thought he was head coach and a former scott county assistant.
  9. Is he currently at Montgomery? Why do I think he is at Montgomery? If he is, why move to grant or woodford?
  10. Her Dad is Dixie's principal. Correct?
  11. Anyone know the story here?
  12. Iwas just saying that holding it in lexington or Frankfort would cut off an hour or more of driving for almost everyone in the state. But hey, it is a fun place with a fun campus.
  13. Alright. I didn't know you were so often discriminated against. :notworthy:
  14. I watched the entire tourney and there were several poorly officiated games. I'm not talking about fouls, but more like travels, double dribbles, and my favorite was when the ref allowed a player to catch and shoot when there was only 0.3 seconds left in the third quarter of the Clark County/Ohio County game. If these refs are the best from there respected regions, then I'm glad I don't travel south too often. I was standing right behind the rock basket today. The lady ref actually blew her whistle and pointed in a direction prior to the red light coming on. It would have been more like one second or maybe even 0.7. Not more than a second, still time was remaining. Did someone throw something at the refs? There was an announcement as the refs were leaving and then someone brought a mop to the tunnel.
  15. Is the championship game televised tonight?
  16. Why is running a website a part of what it takes to be a head coach?
  17. I saw both games today. I'll say Boone county by 9. Scott Co depends a lot on their press and I think Boone will be able to handle it.
  18. I made my first trip to the sweet 16 today. The gym is very nice and the town seems pretty fun. I have to ask though, why are we playing the sweet 16 in the only city in Ky that is inconvenient to everyone? Does logic tell us that Louie, Lexington, or Frankfort would be better locations from the perspective of accessibility.
  19. A few years ago, Coach Mullins from Ryle was thought to be on the hot seat. Has this passed?
  20. Its their right to do it as long or as short as they want.
  21. What program has he built?
  22. Those kids work so hard and play well for such a small school. This is the second time that I can remember that Gallatin has lost the regional game by one bucket. Shelby beat them two years ago.
  23. Funny that the originator has not responded.
  24. Crittendon is a stud.
  25. I support Scott Code. If he leaves, the program will suffer. He is a very good coach and his players play hard for him. Perhaps he should look at making a change in his assistants. If I'm right, he inherited all of his assistant.
