At who?

Brossart is losing a very good group of seniors. Jenna Bezold abd Emily Schubert are two of the classiest athletes I have ever had the privilege of knowing. As their athletic careers end we all can only hope that one day we will see kids as smart as the Brossart seniors.

Any ideas? Cory Highfield? Mike Herald? Joe Utter? Perhaps one of the Holmes assistants?

Perhaps they just wanted to wait for it to be psoted for thirty or so days.

If the powers that be truly feel that a new direction is needed, then it would make no sense to bring back 2/3 of the old regime. These guys have been around for about three different head coaches, if the administration honestly feels that the previous coaches have done a poor job, then they have to look at the common denominators. After years of service, either these guys are qualified to be the head man or they need to cut bait.

How about Chris Schreiber? I know he has helped in the past and seems to be a perfect fit for the Mustangs. I even think he coached over here in ohio a few years ago. Maybe Kings high School?

What about that little italian guy who was at Silver Grove about four years ago?

His overall record is very less then stellar.

Everyone's record is less then stellar at Dayton.

Perhaps they should allow the new coach to actually hire his own staff instead of requiring him to keep the present staff.

But Warfield was a certified teacher. Just noti nthe building. correct? I am almost sure she taught at the alternative school or something.

For the record, Superintendents are hired and fired by the board of education. Superintendents are not voted on by the general public. It is so sad to see such a classy coach mistreated by a classless society. For selfish reasons, I wish this would have gone down a little earlier because Scott Code would have been an excellent fit for my Grant County Braves.

Has there ever been an official word on why Code was let go? Might they already have a person in mind?

They probably have a rule about the head coach being a certified teacher.
