Not much depth. Very low number of players. Can't afford to lose anybody. Hopefully some younger guys will step up. There are signs of improvement from last year. But, still re-building. I expect to win 3 or 4 games. As Wideopen said, even better next year!

(Glenn Roberts) 2 or 3 of the lineman that should start for HC used to block for him @ Evarts. Which is why he is good. Guess I'm partial to those guys in the trenches. They do have great talent in both areas though.

If that O-line consists of the young men I'm thinking of, there will be big holes to run through and the QB will have a lot of time to pass. O and D line will be their strengths!

Whatever class they are in this year or will be in next year, it does not matter to those boys. If they had to play 10 friday nights in a row against Louisville teams, I don't think the players or coaches would care. Those boys will be ready. However, if they dominate 3A this year, it may become a cloud over them. I wish they were able to start in their correct class.

Who approves or allows any new program to compete in any given class? KHSAA? Is it impossible to schedule games in your own class for a program's first year? Why not compete in the correct class the first year if the enrollment calls for it? By the way, I wish HCHS the best! Just wandering.

Scott was the toughest "Off Tackle" running back I have ever seen! He punished people who met him head on and carried the ones who jumped on his back! Very similar to David Hensley from the early 80's.

I believe you are correct about Burkhart. He may have coached at Hall High during that time as well. He also taught @ Cawood.

I recall 2 more backbreaking plays in that game. Wish I could forget them! Remember being relieved that the ADS got knocked out!

I remember watching the film seemed like 100 times over and over. That play is another haunting memory!
